Went to Penthouse rather than my usual haunt the Sundowner since my current favorite dancer has migrated mostly over to Penthouse. I was quite impressed by the club--it is in WAY better condition than the Downer, was not at all crowded, and there were plenty of hot girls there. Prices are comperable to the Downer (but the cover is MUCH less, only $5 Friday and Saturday when I was there versus $20 at the Downer on weekends). If you want energy, action, and sleaze the Downer is your place, but if you are looking for a more mellow place to hang out and get some dances Penthouse is certainly worth the extra 5 minute drive.
