The Lodge is a club aiming at an upscale clientele and they’re moderately on target. The club as described in previous reviews is interesting and comfortable but it does go a bit over the top with the décor. Toning it down would go a long way towards a high class look. The staff was quite attentive and welcoming and service was first rate. Very good food at a welcome low price, premium liquor at a high but not rip off price, nice but somewhat limited cigar selection, and of course high end dancers.

The nicest thing about the Lodge is that they have standards when it comes to dancers. Though they were not all my type there wasn’t a single girl in there that should not have been. All very attractive and playing the part of a high end strippers. Other reviewers seem to have been put off thinking that the dancers were only interested in big spending patrons and complained that they weren’t approached. This was not my experience. On the contrary I think the ladies know how to act in a higher end club. There was no “wanna dance?” and I was not bothered until I was ready to be “bothered.” They seem to be in tune with their surroundings and made themselves available at the right time. Pleasant conversation, no hard sell and no snobbishness when they only sold a couple of dances instead of a VIP.

Overall I enjoyed myself and was satisfied with my experience. The Lodge is a place to go sit back and enjoy the finer things in life. It’s worth it for that and while it doesn’t make my short list of favorite clubs I will go back when in Dallas.
