A hot Thursday afternoon at Baby Dolls was almost great

I was attending a conference in Dallas in June and took the opportunity, when the conference ended at noon on Thursday, to check out the famous Baby Dolls. The club was easy to find and had plenty of free parking. I paid my $5 or $10 cover (I forget) and entered a world of sensual pleasure!

The first thing I saw was a scantily-clad babe selling ice-cold beer from a giant ice bucket right inside the entrance. Then I wandered around for a while marveling at the *seven* stages and the dozens of beauties dancing on them. I'm guessing there were at least 25 girls working, mostly Latinas but with some white and black girls in the mix.

The stages are scattered around the ground floor and girls rotate through them constantly. For lap dances and VIPs, at least during the day, you have to go up a broad staircase to the second floor, where there are many cubicles for lap dances plus VIP rooms along the outside wall that charge by the half hour (I don't know details because I just wanted lap dances). Most of the strippers build a "chair fort" to provide some privacy, but it's all too public for my taste.
