Decided to take a drive out...

Decided to take a drive out to the boonies since I hadn't been in a while. The door fee is $13 discounted to $5 if you also buy a 3-dance special ($60). I opted for the special. There's no booze but they give you a solo cup with your first drink free - water, soda, juice. After that all drinks are $4 including water.

The club is a big basement. The bar takes up a good third, the stage a third, and a bathroom and pool table the last third. The seating is all around the stage or at the bar. No tables or the like. There's a private dance area along a narrow alcove behind the bar.

That night I walked into a frat/birthday party bash. About 10 young guys hooting and hollering at the girl onstage. Except for that crowd there were maybe 3 PLs including myself. The young studs were coughing up dollars left and right. I knew right away that I'd probably had some quite a bit of time to myself while the girls hoovered the party boys. I settled in with my cranberry juice, watched the show for awhile, and shot some pool.
