By 10:00 a.m. this morning, it appears that Jiggles got closed. The matter went to court this morning and the judge sided with the city of Seattle that the owner did not have the proper permits to open the club. It is located less than 800 ft. from a few different sensitive lands uses that the city’s ordinance requires it to be located further from.

A dancer there told me, a few weeks ago, that the club owner held a meeting with all club employees. They were told that the matter was estimated to take 18 months to go through the court. Hence, club employees were assured that their jobs were secure for at least 18 months. By today’s action, that may have taken little more than 18 days.
