I went to Woody’s Show Club on a Friday night at 18:30. The cover charge was only $7 before 19:00. The cover goes up to $15 after 19:00, then $20 after midnight, and finally $30 after 01:00. Anyone over eighteen is allowed inside, and anyone over twenty-one can bring their own beer. Hard alcohol is not allowed. I brought in a cooler full of Sincweisers on ice. There was no cooler check when I came in, so I might have been able to have snuck in some nips under the ice. Dancers told me later in the night, they check coolers. The ATMs have a $200 maximum withdrawal and a $5 fee per transaction.
There is a hexagon island stage to your right as you enter. This was the only stage used until the club got very busy. There is an additional stage along the back wall with two poles. This stage was for practice and warming up early in the evening. Later in the evening, it was put into use. The back wall stage was also used for the amateur contest. The VIP rooms and dressing room are beyond the right wall of the main room. There were vending machines with sodas and energy drinks for those that don’t drink beer. The tables had basins in the middle to hold ice. If needed, a waitress could fill the basin with several buckets full of ice to keep your beer cold.
I counted twenty-nine different dancers. There might have been a few more that I didn’t see. I didn’t see any dancers that would rate an 8 or higher, but there were numerous 7’s and 7.5’s that were attractive enough to take to the back. There were plenty of dancers in the 3 to 6 range that were easy passes. There were a half dozen Cuban dancers working here who just sat amongst themselves and didn’t mix and mingle with the other dancers. They seemed to have a bad reputation amongst the homegrown entertainers and customers. Most dancers got completely nude on stage by their third song. Contact at the stage seemed to be nonexistent. Customers basically just threw their dollars onto the stage and hoped the dancers would come by and give a closer view. The music was very loud; it was difficult to talk to a dancer three feet away.

Topless private dances are $25 per song in a community room. The seating is along the perimeter of the room and faces towards the middle of the room. There is no privacy. Nude private dances take place in the VIP rooms at the far end of the club and are done by blocks of time, not by the song. The VIP rooms have beds inside and curtains over the entrances, which give some privacy. Each room has a timer on the wall so you can see the time tick down and don’t have to worry about dancers cutting you short. VIP rooms are $50 for five minutes, $90 for ten minutes, $175 for twenty minutes, $300 for forty minutes, and $400 for sixty minutes. Apparently, table dances are available for $5, but no dancers ever offered this option, and I have a hard time believing the table dance would last a full song at that price point.
I did a few topless songs with Candy for a warm-up. She had nice big knockers, but she kept upselling the VIP rooms the whole time, which was a turn off. Shut up and dance for me. Talk to me about the VIP room when I am not paying you eight to ten dollars per minute to have you grind on my lap. Later in the evening, I did a twenty minute VIP with Daphne. Daphne was a good time on the bed. I love getting dances when dancers grind on me in cowgirl and reverse cowgirl. I would repeat with Daphne if I come back to Woody’s. Touching was permitted, but anywhere near the vagina is off limits. There are cameras that are constantly watched by security, so extras are out of the question.
On the first Friday of every month, there is an amateur contest with $600 in prizes. I happened to be here at 23:00 for the amateur contest. The stage rotation was paused. All customers and dancers watched the amateur contest. There were four women competing for the prize money on this particular Friday night. The first contestant was around forty and might have been a retired dancer. The second contestant was early twenties and clearly a dancer at another club. She had stilettos and was very talented on the pole. She was actually a 9 on my scale and was hotter than all of the house dancers working at the club this particular night. The last two contestants seemed to be true amateurs. Neither knew how to work the pole, but the crowd loved seeing normal women without heels giving it a go. The customers who sat stageside were assigned to be judges. Their scores were added up to find the winner. One of the true amateurs took first place, and the dancer I mentioned as being a 9 took second place.
Woody’s Show Club stays open until 04:00 on Friday and Saturday night. The club gets packed by 23:00. If you forget to bring beer, there is a Casey’s gas station that sells beer five hundred feet from the club. I will give Woody’s Show Club another try when I am in the City of Five Seasons. Woody’s has better-looking and more dancers compared to the other strip club in the area, Dancers Ranch, which is four miles to the north.
