Stopped by the Mermaid after some...

Stopped by the Mermaid after some time down at the dog track on a Sunday. I have been there before, but it was a while ago. I somehow was able to find this "membership" card they gave me on a previous trip so I got in without issue. I was hoping to get lucky and spot a diamond in the rough, but it didn't work out this time. I arrived a few minutes before closing time (which is earlier on Sundays), but I didn't realize it was closing so soon. By the time I figured it out, I had already ordered a drink. There was no talent to be seen anywhere (just one unattractive woman) and they were clearly getting ready to close, so I guzzled my drink and left. Not a great experience, but not necessarily their fault.
