OK. So picture yourself in a club that looks for all the world like it used to be a 70s Italian restaurant. Lots of Mediterranean art, red decor, one smallish stage, and a bar at the back.

Things were pretty quiet - one dancer on stage, a couple sharing a table, and a real cute brunette who came over to my table. The only problem was that she seemed to be even more interested in the tall blonde on stage than I was. She obviously didn't want to be there, and before long neither did I. There was just no vibe or energy in the place. I quickly finished my beer and left.
