I had some time to kill...

I had some time to kill waiting for a flight to Vancouver and this seemed as good a place as any to do it. This club has had trouble in the past with underage drinkers and the accompanying violence so there is vigilant ID verification at the main door even for an old guy (61) like me. There is a pat down for weapons by the security guys as well. I was spared that but younger guys weren't. IDs weren't scanned on my visit as reported by a previous reviewer.

Large well lit parking lot. No valet. $7 cover charge to enter. The main room features a stage shaped like a flattened "v". Two bars along one wall; the DJ's booth with the lap dance area behind on the other side of the room. Like all Alberta clubs perverts' row is separated from the stage. Diamond's uses a dry moat. On a non-drinking night for me near beer was $4.50.

Lap dances are available at $30 per. Unlike other Alberta clubs dancers actually hustled for dances in this club. One in particular was rather annoying. Pretty girl but with an ass that would have taken up half of the bench seat in my truck. I sampled the delights of two dancers in the room. About what you would expect in an Alberta club - gentle one way contact only. I tried to spur the girls on to more intimate efforts with generous tips but no luck for me on this night.
