Strolling down Powell Blvd, I wandered...

Strolling down Powell Blvd, I wandered in here drunk & curious. No cover, a pool room, a bar, a couple of stages surrounded by chairs, and a curtained-off private dance area. The vibe is of a casual neighborhood joint, reasonably clean, music unremarkable. Pretty small crowd, maybe 2 at the bar and three at the stages.

The drinks are cheap and strong! $3 for rum and coke, and I swear it was half and half. I got distracted by something (heaven knows what) and forgot to leave a tip for my first drink, but there was no haughty BS from the hefty barmaid about it; when I managed to get back to the bar she happily poured my second just as fast & strong & friendly as the first. (And that, folks, is how you earn a fat tip from a scumbag like me... I ended up leaving her $20 for three drinks just out of appreciation for heavy pours and the lack of BS.)

Girls were sweet & a little spacey. No drama, just good-looking kids who've found a way to make money and have fun at the same time. Kudos to them. Nice stageside action for a few singles, and a very enthusiastic (if a little inexpert) grind behind the curtain for $20.
