Just visited New Orleans (Labor Day weekend) and thought I'd visit this newer bar that moved into Big Daddy's legendary spot on Bourbon Street. Cover is waved with an invite, which comes basically by walking by the bouncer on Bourbon, and a 1 drink minimum ($9 beer). There were 4-5 girls working inside, two were 7's, the other two I remember were 4's. Only five or six other patrons were around, and the girls were very low energy. After this bar, I went to another club on Bourbon, which was packed and full of energy, so I blame the low energy on the ladies and DJ at this club. Like most places on Bourbon, they worked on selling lap dances at $40 per song. After about an hour, tipping had slowed down to a point that the girls stopped dancing, and just sat at the bar talking to the manager and bar keep, and the bar promptly emptied. Plenty of comfortable seating near the stage, and there was an upstairs VIP area. This is a comfortable bar, and it would probably be better on a busier night, or if the girls were more into it. It definitely doesn't live up to Rick's Cabaret, or to the legend of Big Daddy's, but they have added a new touch, a real live lady swinging out onto bourbon street, which is quite enticing.
