You did the right thing. Say no, get up and walk away. I had the similar experience. Might be a different dancer. There are a few sharks in that club. I think the manager is fully aware of the situation. But choose not to intervene. All you can do is to be firm and fight back. They'll back down.
But I agree it totally killed the vibe. I don't blame you for being "unpleasant" to other dancers.

I noticed that too. Some girls don't bother lap dance. Always on their phone. Waiting on their regulars. The girls who approach you are usually desperate to make a deal. One lady told me many can take down to 150. But you have to speak Spanish and a good negotiator. If you speak English only, they won't ask at least 300. Won't budge.

Have been there a few times during the day. Only upstairs open for VIP ($100 house fee; $150 for nicer/bigger room). I am not sure about the VIP/champagne room you mentioned. Is that something open after midnight? On the first floor?

Thanks! I agree if I go earlier and mid week, better chance to get a table. But I never understand why they don't set up a private VIP room for VIP dances. They can make more money on that. That shared room is killing the vibe.
