Inflation Nation

Gave this place another try the other night, and all I can say is that, while the talent was definitely better (partly because they managed, I guess, to lure back some of the better girls from the byegone days), it is quickly pricing itself out of most of our budgets.

Paid the $20 cover (which thankfully has not increased with inflation....LOL) and then scanned the white erase board with the dancers' names and was pleased to see some old familiar names, as I noted earlier. One name I noticed was not there was Nicole, the pretty girl with the curly light brown hair who has been a fixture there. Usually, she works the floor with Janine (never have seen her go up on stage), but didn't see her that night or the last time I was there. Is she still there?

Anyway, took in the talent and finally settled on a CR with a very attractive girl. Made sure that we agreed on the agenda for the session before going in and everything. We get in there and she wants the tip for the CR upfront ('warning, Will Robinson'). OK, been here many times and the tip has never been too unreasonable. I understand, too, inflationary pressures (probably from the management) will mean that what was cool 5 years ago won't necessarily fly now. BUT, this was way out of line. For your best experience here, you are looking now at half a g-note at least. Was able to negotiate down a little bit, and we proceed, and, of course, she didn't deliver on everything. Not good.
