I put in a "add listing" for Magic Tavern earlier today, not sure when that would come out or if it would ever. I'll write it up here then copy/paste if/when the listing is created. Hopefully that's not breaking any rules.
I've been at Magic Tavern three times so far, in the last two weeks, all weekdays at around 8-9pm. It's just down the street from Casa Diablo, so it's a easy place to hit if Casa is a miss. Bouncer checks ID, no cover. Street parking, no meters. As you walk in, the bouncer is to your right, behind him is a pool table. To the left is bar, tables, and stage at the far side of the club. I don't know where the PD area is... yet.
Brand new club. Spoke to the bartender a bit and she used to dance/bartend at the Magic Garden, the very first club that was a regular stop for me. I worked downtown and Magic Garden was just a few blocks away, so a co-worker and I would sneak out in the late afternoon for a 30-min beer session and be back before anyone was the wiser. Good times - I was young, pre-kids and pre-mortgage. Also had my first crushes on dancers there -- anyone know where Bailey or Francine is these days? Lol.
Magic Tavern retains very much the same vibe as Magic Garden, feels like a neighborhood bar that happens to have naked ladies dancing. Beer was in the 6-7 range, and 3-6 dancers nightly. Dancer schedule is posted on Twitter and Instagram under MagicTavernPDX, though it looks like the last update on Twitter was year end. I read somewhere the the club is so new that they are not charging dancer fees while the club gets going; also that since it's so new, there are only a few dancers that's there regularly -- this checks out as in the three times that I've been there, granted small sample size, I have not seen the same dancer twice.
On this particular Thursday there were six dancers, mostly Caucasian in the 6-8 range. I watched an entire rotation, each person doing two songs and fully nude by the second, tipping 2-5 per song, depending on how much of their attention I was seeking. I sat at the table, rather than the rack, and did not see any extra mileage being given at the rack. There was one person I was interested, the one that I tipped 5/song, but she was already with someone who went to the rack with her, so I didn't get a chance to chat her up other than exchanging pleasantries as she walked away at the end of her set.
Overall a nice relaxing place. Kinda like a more chill and less aggressive (musically) Casa Diablo. Not sure what the mileage is like and I hope I am wrong, but I suspect it wouldn't be much just based on how the bartender is running things. She seems like a no non-sense person and would probably come down like a ton of bricks on any infractions, especially since the club is so new and they probably wouldn't want OLCC on their back.
I'll definitely return, since it's new and conveniently located on the way out of Casa Diablo. I hope I'll find someone I like enough to explore the PD area.

@moneyman1234 the $500 VIP comes with, I think, one or two drinks per person and the oft-promised "more fun." It is in a separate area, out the patio door then hang a right, and has much more privacy. Not sure about whether there are cameras there.

Hey, sorry just seeing this. There's metered street parking and a lot across the street. Usually not a problem in the evening unless it's Thurs or later in the week. Meter stops charging after 7pm.
