Thursday 8:15pm. Meh.
Been visiting Casa Diablo for many years at this point. Generally friendly dancers with looks in the 4-8 range, the very occasional 9 once in a while. Home of the $2 bills tips. Diverse range of dancers on race and body type. Dancer schedule on the website.
Arrived at around 815pm, no cover. As you walk in, rest rooms to the left, ATM to the right. Take a few more steps then there is a stages in the middle of the club, couple of booths on the right, and bench/tables along the walls. At the far end of the club is the bar, with PD area on the right, 8-10 booths I think. Dances are 3/$100, 30 min/$300, and 30 min VIP for $500. PD booth has curtains that only closes for 30 min/$300. VIP is in a separate area, near the patio. Patio is pretty expansive, heated bench seating along the walls, with a several tables and a gazebo(!)
Thursday night was shockingly empty, even for early evening. I was one of three patrons and the only one tipping from a table. I can see 8 dancers sitting around, though the website says there should be many more. A dancer came by to chat, told me that yesterday (Wednesday) was even worse. According to her, FWIW, three customers all night with thirty dancers (I'm sure that's exaggerated.) She attributed it to less disposable income after X'mas, beginning of the month, and maybe some may still have family staying with them.
