I believe it's the local law.... they cant touch yiu while nude. So the nude dances aren't really nude. They somewhat briefly expose in the nude dances... same in the timed VIP area

There is a second level, but I didn’t try those seats. There are booths on the east half of the second level that look down into the first floor main stage. I’m not sure if you can even see the main stage from them? There’s also a bar on the second level, right above the main bar. Second level bar seemed to be a preferred hangout spot for several of the dancers.
The west half of the 2nd level are the vip booths. They have a full curtain that is clipped closed by the dancer from the inside. Fairly nice couch. Dances in the vip area are 25 per song, although all the dancers I went up with offered a no song count package menu. 3 of the 4 girls offered a full menu. The last girl probably had some room for negotiation. First offer prices seemed pretty high, but always came down in negotiations. There’s a bouncer at the entrance to the vip area that leads you to an open booth. After reading the prior reviews here, i knew that a tip was expected for privacy.... so i handed a 20 each time, except one time he opened a curtain for us, and before i could even get my hand out of my pocket he was gone.
In 3 visits, i always left satisfied.
In summary, this may be my favorite club ever. Talent is high, mileage is high, comfortable club setting, friendly staff, good food. Price is a little higher, than the rest of the Detroit metro..... but in perspective its still cheaper than most other Midwest cities. A lot cheaper than Chicago, Minneapolis, Kansas City.
If i ever get back to Detroit... this will be my first stop.

The club itself is nice. Looks like its recently remodeled, very modern look. Reminds me a little of the main room at the Downtown Cabaret in Minneapolis, or Pink Monkey in Chicago. Similar to BSC in Phoenix.
One large stage. 3 poles. There were 1 or 2 girls on stage at a time
About a dozen chairs around the stage.
Tables with chairs around the remainder of the floor.
As soon as you sit down at a table, you are immediately approached by one of the dancers. Very pushy and a hard sell for vip. I ended up spending quite a bit of time sitting at the stage, where at least i can sit without being hounded nonstop.
Finally spent some time talking with a dancer that was not pushy. took her up for the “tour” of the place, which is code for lets get you closer to the rooms to push more for the vip time. On the main level there are small booths behind the stage area with a curtain. I had to give at least 1 $40 dance a try. It wasn’t a bad dance, plenty of grind... but tops stay on for these.
Upstairs , there are even larger rooms with a large bench/bed. Curtains give full privacy.
Girls here are high end, or at least think they are. All types and sizes. None fat.... but plenty of curvy girls. All seemed fluent in English, which is always a plus. I’d say most were 7-9s. Fine women all around. Maybe its a NoCal thing, but the Asses seemed larger than I’d prefer. I think some of them had ass implants, which I still dont understand. Even the white girls. ( not all, but quite a few)
The one dancer that was cool to talk with ( maybe just SS) explained the hard sell for the vip by the need to cover the high house fees. Sounds like they have to pay out $200 just to cover the house fees.
Again, maybe this is all just SS, but she seems pretty straightforward and upfront about it. My SS lie radar is usually pretty good as long as I’m fairly sober. The hard push all the girls want you to do is $500 for 15 minutes. Yes.... 15 minutes. WHAT??? This girl told me that basically I could take my choice of any girl and that they’d all be “ DTF” ( her words ). $500, no extra tip needed. Maybe this was negotiable. I wasn’t interested at anything close to that, so I didn’t try. As the bars closed at 2am, the place was filling up, and it looked like several guys were partaking. Maybe these tech companies are paying guys so much they have the extra to blow.
I’m glad I gave this place a try, especially after all the bad reviews. Honestly, if this place charged $200 for 20 minutes in the vip like Crazy Horse does..... there would be a line for a vip room. I’m not sure who the economist is that designed New Century’s pricing structure. I’d think a little lower fees ( and longer times) would markedly increase their sales of vip rooms. Maybe this structure just attracts the wealthy that they are trying to cater to.

I don't think it's the law, but it is this club's rule. I think local LE had cracked down at some point with the full nude dances
