This is the first customer review of the new Lido location at 39th Street in midtown. While we would agree it is a tamer version of the Old Lido, it is also more elegant and upscale, and you can feel comfortable inviting a business associate.

A former Lido Manager has stayed behind at Scores and has been trying to keep some of the Lido customers to keep coming to Scores with promises of free admission all night and free pizza.

The original owner of Lido and all the Lido girls have left to the new 39th Street Midtown location.

The girls from the underground club moved out two weeks ago to a new venue.

The no phone number rule is well known at Lido and that represents the response that any customer would get from a Lido dancer.

I asked a girl for her phone number and she said that it is against the Club rules and could result in getting her fired.

A promoter Paul Drohan, also known as Dinosaur, was fired by Lido over two months ago for extorting money from the venues and sexually harassing the dances. In revenge for being fired, Drohan filed a false and malicious complaint against Lido with the New York State Liquor Association (SLA). As a result, the SLA, along with the local NYPD, made two inspections of Lido, to see if there was any prostitution or other illegal activity going on. Lido came out clean and did not get shut down. However, the police presence was a real buzz kill, and some of the customers and dancers left.

Cover charge has been reduced from $40 to only $20 this week.

Lido Lounge is still open and has the same Girl Next Door type dancers. However, Lido has changed its business model and is now only operating in 100% adult licensed clubs. Traditional gentlemen's clubs and pop-up strip clubs can no longer operate under the more lenient 60/40 zoning laws. Agreed, we should keep this thread and any comments about Lido which is a fun and clean club.

User thegoose96 is another fake profile by fired and banned promoter Paul Drohan. The profile thegoose96 was just made, it has no reviews and the comment above is its one and only Comment. Users Lisa_Dancer and PlatinumNYC are both long-term TUSCL members with many club reviews. There are over 150 reviews from Users on Lido and many are from long-term TUSCL members.

Lido is more like a nontraditional club, rather than an underground club. Lido operates because it is a clean club with no illegal activity.

False and malicious review by either a jealous competitor or a disgruntled employee who was fired. There was absolutely no police presence on Tuesday night at Lido. An article from 8 years ago has nothing to do with Lido. All membership applications are reviewed and Lido is selective in the customers that they approve.

The dancers at Lido are Girl Next Door (GND) types with natural breasts. Your fabrication about a transgender dancer is ridiculous.

You did not see or speak with any dancers on Wednesday or Thursday because you were not at Lido. We know who you are and you were banned from Lido several months ago.
