Elegant Venue with Classy Girls

Went to Lido's West Village location which has always been a favorite of mine. Lido had events there going back almost 4 years.

It's an established neighborhood bar which has 2 floors and an outdoor patio. The venue is elegant and the decor has a lot of red velvet sofas and tables with lamps with shades.

The bar is comfortable and the bartender was friendly. Up until 9 pm there were Happy Hour drinks for only $7. The first floor bar starting to get crowded during the evening, so I went upstairs where there was a smaller bar which was less crowded.

I started chatting with an Asian female who was petite and pretty. She told me that she was from California and recently graduated from UCLA and that she was working in finance. At first, I was surprised to meet such a well educated woman working as a stripper. But she explained to me that she was only one year out of college and with the high cost of living in New York City that she needed some extra income. She was clearly not the type of girl I would ordinarily meet at a strip club. She explained to me that she had friends working at gentlemen's clubs and that Lido was different. Because there was no stage at Lido and she had no experience in pole dancing, it was easy for her to get a job as a beginner with no prior experience. She also liked that there were no private rooms where she could be pressured or compromised.
