Inflation Nation
Well, I will say that if you went up here in the daytime, you'd see that it not really in the middle of 'nowhere', but really just on the edge of town, just a mile or two from the main drag (940). There are plenty of houses along Middleburg Road and even behind the club, if you follow Ice Lake Road past it. With all of the trees, yes, at nighttime it can seem to be isolated. As far as 'delivery', yes, it has gotten nuts. Years ago, things were much looser and cheaper. Now, it seems like the girls are trying to upcharge to push boundaries but are still 'scared' of getting caught. So, anything that might happen is likely to be very uncomfortable and awkward.

Ownership Change
Ha, I see that now and did see the discussion about how to prevent that from happening in the future (thanks, all!). I was attempting to create this discussion for the Diamond Club in Old Forge, PA (near Scranton). Place evidently changed hands sometime late last year. The story I was referring to was about a shooting that occurred there on NYE 2022, in the parking lot. Anyone have any recent intel on this place? As I noted, the club's Facebook page doesn't provide any info other than about various 'theme' nights and whether there is a live DJ there. No info or pictures of the dancers or anything like that.

Can satisfy you but nothing spectacular
In my experience, this place has always been a 'weekends' kind of place. In the handful of times I've come here during the week (M-Th), there have never been that many girls on or a very large crowd. In (IMO) better times, on the weekends they would have a lot of dancers come down from NY state to complement the 'local' gals, and when the owner also owned the Diamond Club in Old Forge, he would rotate some girls from there down here as well. Made for a great experience as there were quite a few lookers in each group. Doesn't seem so much the case now. Just out of curiosity, how did you get the vibe about the menu for the VIP? The last couple of times I was here, both post-lockdown, I kept getting the 'playground is closed' routine in that regard. Just wondering if maybe things have loosened up a little or if maybe you were relating past experiences?

Not as good as they should be
Re: Ballpark - the flip side of that experience -- and I was there a few times and enjoyed it for sure -- was that, at least toward the end of its run, you might also see some stuff you didn't want to see, such as chicks ODing. Maybe it was not always that way there, but in the last couple of years of business, it apparently became enough of a problem that even Bristol Township couldn't take it anymore and had to move on them.

Ehh… Wasn’t really worth it.
Absolutely. Been my thinking ever since this place re-branded. As I noted before, girls at Erv's would hang out by the VIP area after their sets, totally nude, and engage you for dances. Some, though not all, were definitely down for whatever. My best memories are of a blonde, Desiree, I think her name was, and another girl who I referred to as the 'down south' girl, because she always would entice you by talking about 'playing down south' (that and I never really got her name either :-)). Both delivered as promised, and, like I said before, you knew it was going down in there quite often by how worn those couches were. Seemed like they had a good thing going there, too, overall. Place was located conveniently, yet discreetly, with the entrance behind the shopping center, so not a lot of eyes on you when you were coming or going. Well, whatever, what's done is done, and I'm glad I had the experiences I did.

Back after quite a hiatus
Fate, ah, yes.......one of my biggest regrets, unfortunately, that I missed out on that one. One Saturday, was in there and was about to take the plunge with her (def wanted to), but needed some more cash. Of course, at that point Oasis had no ATM, so went down Essington to get some, fully intending to come back. On the way, passed by what then was Christine's and remembered its gem: Leanne! Don't know why, but I wound up there and in the lap dance room with her, and, well, all you who remember Leanne probably can guess how it turned out. Amazing! After that it seemed like Fate was at Oasis less and less often and I never got another chance with her. I wonder what both of them are up to these days ;-)

Mary Jane
Mary Jane, hmmm......wonder if it could be the same Mary Jane who used to dance at Leave It To Beavers near Hazleton (I know you're not from PA, apparently, so wouldn't ring a bell with you necessarily). That MJ did have a good reputation, as we gentlemen see it. Might be worth a scouting trip to see, but yes, the place itself (Utopia) has never really had a reputation for 'good times', in any of its many incarnations. At one point, it seemed like they were trying to replicate the vibe of the old Fantasy Showbar in Mt. Ephraim, NJ, with all of the bouncers and male staff wearing tuxes and cumberbunds.....that to me was a red flag right there, along with the high prices. At least, though, to my knowledge, they never had the DJ yell 'Texas style and PA wild' about the VIPs....LOL

Perfect Gentleman
Worth it if you are an extraordinary customer
Regrettably, at this point in 2022, I would have to agree with Slutfinder's assessment of this place, although Nwydon's description of his interactions is reminiscent of what this place once was, in the early 2000s/2010s, certainly. The very first time in this place back then -- and I knew no dancers here, from any other club or anything --I received a HIP handshake right on the floor, as a preview of things to come in the VIP. Had some great experiences here since then, including with some of the local 'celebrities' who have worked here over the years. Fast forward to now. Stopped in for the first time since the lockdowns about three months ago. Got there rather late, but ran into a familiar face and reliable entertainer. Now, keep in mind that this lady has been helping us gentlemen achieve 'success' through parts of 4 Presidential administrations (that is NOT meant as a crack about her age or to criticize her appearance in ANY way....still very attractive and definitely did not spend the lockdown period eating bon bons...LOL). So, given my personal experiences with her (many), I agree to the champagne room. We get in there and.....'dudsville'. She even said clearly that if junior came out in any way, she would be thrown out. No attempt at upsell or anything like that, but the whole thing wound up being nothing more than a lap dance. Something is going on here, just not sure what. Is LE or the local 'karens' putting the pressure on? Does the owner not want to risk losing his business after the lockdown? You tell me, but I would have to say at this point that the place is not a 'go to'.

Totally was not worth my time
Would have to concur.....these days, this entire area is pretty much a wasteland. I think at one time, I saw some loose talk about touching becoming more liberal at a place north of the city, in a little town called Duncannon (it is on the main route, 322, on the way to Lewistown/State College), but, alas, the management of that place seems to change weekly and so do the rules as a result, so I have no idea now what they might be. The place's Facebook page, which sometimes features pics of current talent, gives me no motivation to find out (ugh). Plus, where there used to be three clubs up there within less than a quarter mile of each other, and hence, some competition, now there is only the one, so, again, there is no motivation for that place to up its game. To underscore our lack of options, the next closest place for any kind of live adult entertainment (going north) is a couple miles outside of Bloomsburg, for crying out loud. Nothing else between here and there. Going south/southeast, there are only a few clubs, one across the river from suburban York city, one in downtown York (yikes!), and one in plain jane Adams County. None has gotten any rave reviews as far as I know. Part of reason why, in better economic times, I would take off for NEPA (Scranton/Wilkes Barre/Poconos) for any real fun. If time travel were real, all I can say is if you came through here in say, 1995, your eyes would pop out of your head. Not only did we have a few more clubs and there was some action to be had in some of them at that time, we had about 10 honest-to-goodness massage parlors just in the Harrisburg area alone, some of which were legendary. Y2K spelled the end of most of that, for different reasons, and nothing has emerged in its place since. Times are tough, for sure.

Late afternoon Saturday visit at PP
Yeah, it's been a rocky road for this place for sure over the last 10+ years, from its troubles with the LCB to some of the other bad press it's had. In spite of the upscale vibe, I still, as I've said before, prefer the old Erv's. Talent seemed much better back then, and, frankly, I appreciated the lower profile of Erv's, with the entrance tucked behind the shopping center -- much more conducive to the fun that many of us look for. Kind of a 'hide in plain sight' vibe to it. What has been equally frustrating is that the place has had practically no competition for most of its run. If I remember correctly, Scarlett's was on its way out about the same time that this place rebranded and opened as Platinum Plus, as was Glow in Bethlehem, and for all intents and purposes, that Scoobie's place or whatever it was downtown. Now, I have seen that there have been some comments about the Fox up in Bath being improved, at least talent-wise, so maybe there will be something to motivate this place to step up its game, but, with the whole industry in the state it is, I don't have a lot of hope. Oh, to be able to re-live the 90's! LOL

Tori Black Appearance
Actually, I have, over the years, read some accounts of some guys getting lucky in that regard. In fact, I think there might have been one who came to Philly every so often, one of the 80s stars, but can't remember which one exactly now. I think it was one of the big AA stars of that time, though. I know, too, that Sunset Thomas used to appear at one of the Edison Ave strip places on LI a few years ago, too, so there might have been some action there, but she was never my cup of tea, so I never took the plunge. I did see a few features over the years, but mainly in Reading, so there was no hint of anything beyond a meet and greet and maybe a private dance; however, years later (like 2010, I think) I did have a pretty good experience going to see Ann Marie Rios in Philly. Girl is just as hot and toned in person as in her movies IMO (though not as tall as you might think!). Went for a private dance with her and it was pretty good. Didn't push the boundaries, though, partly because the club she was at didn't have an ATM at the time, so it was either leave to get more cash or use the CC, which I don't like to do in the clubs if I can help it. Later kicked myself when I found out that the week before she had been appearing at the old Erv's in Allentown. Should have gone to see her there and maybe would have tried to get her into the lap dance area, with those well-worn couches....LOL.

$20 to get lung cancer and stare at an empty stage. Never again!
Hey, sir! Thank you for TOFFT (making that wonderful drive down Tomhicken Road, no less!) and pretty much confirming what my regular perusal of this place's Facebook page was telling me. No doubt this place has been heading downhill steadily over the past few years, and notwithstanding the lockdowns and all that, which still are taking their toll on the entire industry, it doesn't seem worth the effort it takes to get here anymore (unless you are a local, maybe). Now, in LITB's defense, it is possible that one factor impacting your visit was a transition in staff that appears to have been taking place over the last couple of weeks. From what I saw, it seems like some of the talent that was here has now migrated down to Castaway's in Duncannon and there are a few new faces at Beavers. Have not seen many photos on Facebook yet, though, so I can't really assess if this transition will change anything. I really wish for this place as it was just maybe 5 or so years ago, with talent like Passion, for example. There even used to be a few girls who would split time between the Pleasure Dome and this place and were definitely the gems here. We shall see.

Daydream Non Believer
It's amazing how this place hasn't really loosened up at all in the almost 25 years since I first came here. Back then, I was just cutting my teeth on all of the Philly clubs, and the big draw on this one was that it was (and I guess technically still is) one of the few full-nude clubs in the city. Plus then, whoever was screening the talent really had an eye for it.......tons of gorgeous, slim girls, which made the lack of action in the LD/VIP more tolerable.....at least the view was top-notch! Some of my favorites then were Cody (think she had her own website for awhile), Naomi, and Britney. Remember, too, the club was featured on that HBO show, 'G-String Divas' in the late 90s. Never had a dance with that Jordan girl, though (bummer). Still, all in all, some good memories, but once I started expanding my horizons at other, more accommodating clubs, never could go back to the 'standard', so haven't been here in many years. Also later regretted spending so much time and money here and at other, similar places, when back then I could have been mining the Reading, Lancaster, and even Harrisburg MP action. Was thinking about that again the other day when I stumbled upon this gem: https://www.amazon.com/ODYSSEY-Inside-Out-Memoirs-exposing-ebook/dp/B077ZDYJT3 For those of you who remember the Reading MP scene in the 90s and early 2000s, you'll be crying in your beer reading this one....for those of you who never had a chance to experience it, enjoy, because it doesn't seem like that era is going to return anytime soon.

Nice Club that’s Way Overpriced for the Area
<Sigh> Is it just me, or was this place/location way better when it was still Erv's? Made my first trip there in 2009, and, though I thought I had seen reviews prior to that indicating the place was fairly tame, it was anything but. Girls would hang out by the lap dance area totally nude after their sets and engage you for dances. One in particular, a HOT either Asian or Latina whose name I don't think I ever knew would always talk about 'playing down south'. First time I took her back, she says to me 'I don't have any rules.....let's just act like a couple of kids.' Who was I to argue? Always thought it was funny, though, the signs all over the lap dance room about touching and blah blah blah, when clearly this place was great for action. All you needed as proof was how worn the cushions on the couches were. Best was the first one to your right as you entered the lap dance area, which faced away from the entrance, toward the far wall. Man, the hole in that one was so big, if you didn't position yourself just so, you certainly could have ended up in Wonderland. For perspective, that area is now the vestibule of the current layout. IMO, they should put a marker in there where that couch used to be, like where home plate was at the old Vet or Yankee Stadium. At this point, it would be all we would have to remember how good things used to be.

Closed, for now.
Per the Facebook page, Red at Leave It To Beavers, place is set to re-open on June 4. Personally, I would like to think that they spent the closure period completely overhauling the ventilation system in there, but........I also hope that Passion will be among the entertainers that return. We shall see.....

Post COVID trip in northern PA
Re: Janine - She is an average height brunette, good body, very nice eyes and skin....kind of Italiano looking. I think I've seen some comparisons to Mila Kunis as well, as far as her face is concerned. She and Nicole often work the room together, so if you see someone with Nicole who fits my description (FWIW), then that's probably Janine.

On my last trip in March, right before the lockdown, Janine was definitely there. No sign of Nicole that night, though, surprisingly. Even more surprised to find Payton's husband still working there, considering everything.
