Ivy is great. But only give $5 unless they sing some Billy Joel. Ivy is a little thick, but she reads the beacon journal pretty well.

I've never been there but I always heard the VIP fee was $20. It's always been $10 at both Bogies and H8N.

Nice report, but fyi $9 for a bottle of water is a deal, it's $10 at Bogies across the street (where the lights are dim, the girls have meth teeth and pimp bruises and there's tons of cellulite. But they let you park your own car and keep your keys.

They have valet parking, I have a large vehicle and I was told by the valet to park on the grass, which I did (and I kept my keys). I tipped the valet guy when i left. He was the only employee that wasn't useless. This bar really sucks.

I say something like "I just got paid, I'd love to get some dances and a blow job when you're done ".

I've been there once. The valet was pretty good, but I agree, this club sucks.

Ok you don't like it. But your short review actually highlights some of the positives that make lustys my favorite. 1) $2 beer (always cold may I add) 2) no cover 3) $5 dances, with full length songs 4) lots of stick shifting 5) extras available It's not the Ritz, but I've been in plenty of worse bars. I've read about guys getting thrown out of a bar for getting his junk out in the VIP. At lustys you can whip it aut at the bar, I've done it plenty of times. But, to each his own.

Why does dollar value get 5 stars? It sounds like a rip off.

I like bogies because they have great food - don't just read the menu they give you, read the board by the kitchen window. Outstanding prime rib on Wednesdays. After eating I usually go to H8N, because it seems like the girls at bogies all insist on cbj, I need bbbj and the girls at h8n are usually more willing. The VIP booths at bogies are great, so if I can a bbbj at bogies I usually do or I go to h8n.

I've spent lots of time in Detroit bars (inkster actually) and Akron. I did well in El Paso when I passed thru, I spent some time in st. Louis and visited Washington park clubs.

TimJo, yes indeed, I read 4 versions of the Beacon Journal at the bar while sitting in the last stool. I wonder if kings in the old days stayed informed in a similar fashion?

The turnstile at the entrance is fairly new. The doorman will let you use the exit door next to the turnstile and he turns the turnstile manually. It's purpose is to count the people entering so the doorman can't short the bar. Hank's is one of my top 5 bars in America, and I've been to over 1,000 bars. You got there pretty early, it's better later in the day.

The food is reasonably priced and it's excellent.

Reads like a club ad. For $30 per song you can get your nuts drained at some Akron bars. This place gets a 10 for dollar value? You need to get out more, but you likely own or work at this club.

What day of the week was it? What time? Those 2 pieces of information make all the difference. Hank's is one of my favorite bars. The girls are very friendly and reasonably priced.
