@Tupiandbex. Thanks for the feedback. You have a good eye. I didn’t go into this detail in my review for brevity’s sake, but when I exited the place, the first couple of blocks in the direction of el Diagonal, the main street you mentioned, were full of taxis as far as I could see. Each cabbie stood outside his car, and each told me they could only take me to strip clubs. After two blocks and 10-11 inquiries, I walked the other direction once it was clear they had “cornered” the area.
But, hey, I only related my experience; knock yourselves out visiting the BlueNight and enjoy it — or something.

This is not the Palomino I went to for 10 years until it changed for the worse after the pandemic. Even when it was at it’s best, it had some cons, that were far outweighed by long pros.
This reviewer finds no cons and even cites good security to justify the $65 cover fee. I respect all who take time to share their honest impressions, so I won’t question motives. Perhaps the place has improved or the reviewer is in the honeymoon phase with a club. My experience—particularly pushier than ever dancers—differs.

As a Spanish speaker, these terms and phrases are not as easily found online as I once thought.
A while ago, I asked an earlier version of chatGPT to list the 20 “dirtiest” phrases and expressions en español. It swiftly rebuked and shamed me for asking, told me to get my mind out of the gutter and to refocus on more wholesome pursuits. This forced me to accuse open ai of being unnecessarily judgmental and biased, LOL.
I got a similar response with an “anti-female” twist, when I asked for a list of the best strip clubs in Las Vegas. I cannot recall a time when I ever associated LV and wholesome pursuits. What’s the point?

I traveled monthly to Chicago until recently and I chose Admiral because: a) many Chicagoland strip clubs still cover nipples, b) it is (can be) all nude, and c) I don’t drink alcohol so I figured, more women for me! There is a local bar nearby that most people take a break to visit if they really want a drink. I’m ok with a decent edible before I go.
After roughly 30 visits over two years, I can say that it’s a consistently managed club. It is tame by most strip club standards: private areas are heavily policed by bouncers, so this is not the place to come for much body contact. One night, I saw them physically eject a guy for whipping out his member in a private dance area. The dancers were shocked at his behavior. Another night, a young, very new dancer innocently asked me if I’d ever seen sex in the club; of course, my reply was "no.” She seemed surprised.
I don’t get back much, but if I had to do these many visits over, I would have arrived at 3 a.m. when options increase, in my experiences.

I hope, and it sounds like, Palomino may have stepped up to its old self since I visited not long after the pandemic ended and left a scathing review here of a club I hardly recognized (figuratively).
I’ve skipped Palomino during my last two LV trips since, but may be tempted next time. It used to be my go-to lv club for many years and I miss what it was. With so many excellent options now in lv, it won’t be a priority destination for my cash.

Your description is very consistent with my experience. Perhaps the smallest strip club in LV metro area. When very crowded, few can see what is happening; when uncrowded, you’re on display in a small room when getting dances.
Women were mostly 4-5s on a weekend afternoon, but all were very outgoing and enthusiastic about telling me (in Spanish) where they’re from and about their lives. I didn’t get sexy dances, but I met decent candid people with great insider perspective about the hobby. All I had to do was listen.

Excellent insight. In Monterrey, I preferred Obsession over others I tried because it was much better lighted, a large space and great options for a mid-week early afternoon. Highly attentive, mostly English-speaking hosts, although it is true that few dancers speak English. Being fluent will get you to exactly what you seek and knowing at least some Spanish will get you much of it.

@wildman--the "stanky overflow" room I described was new to me too, but it looks nothing like the usual private dance area--which I did not see this visit because I was placed in the "overflow" room I described. I did not get a chance to see the so-called remodeled rooms you described, but I don't suspect your review because I didn't see the changes you mention. I do question the praise your November review of Palomino heaped on the grumpy fat old Soprano's wannabe receptionist who usually attends the private dance area. You may be referring to someone else, but the same guy has been there a while and has gotten a fair amount of my cash tips (after dances) and is still a dick. I appreciate your affection for the club and the grumpy old asshole but I call the clubs as I see them first-hand, which is the spirit of this board. Reasonable minds may differ from your viewpoint.

@Liwet--I heard that too last week in LV. You never know what to believe but there is some evidence of more Taxi vs. Uber warfare in that the Bell stand outside Palomino was unstaffed (could've been a weeknight thing) and two calls to taxis went unanswered. I've seen the stand staffed in the past. In any event, I do think that Palo mgmnt's new pandemic loss recovery tactics are behind: 1) deceptive and fluid dance prices, 2) the virtual elimination table dances, and 3) the behavior change of previously cool dancers who now aggressively hustle with emphasis on paying house fees. The taxi boycott of Palomino may be a symptom of a larger problem, but in a town where strip clubs rely so heavily on taxis for business traffic, there may be more here than meets the eye.
I wonder what might cause taxis to boycott strip clubs?
