Agree with Lexington; had a group of buddies who did a golf trip down there and claimed they had nearly as much fun as our trips to Detroit, at similar or lower cost.
For me I have never clubbed in the Miami area and I'll add any of the Texas big venues in there as well.

While in Laughlin, I visited an old "ghost town" called Oatman, the Route 66 Museum in Kingman, but the highlight was the west rim of the Grand Canyon and walking around this thing:

Sorry PSD... Masters used to be better BITD from a customers standpoint but, they've always been real strict and weird about those front rooms not to mention that annoying pervert bouncer that stalks back and forth.
I mentioned Masters and TC were not in the best of areas; part of the reason I suggested TDH as a first choice. Did you check in with them?

Ditto on San Diego and the Midway; been on a dozen or so big ships and it was the best.... although the Alabama in Biloxi is really cool too as you can wander around below decks w/o a tour guide AND they have a aircraft display that includes a Blackbird.
For me right now it would be a drive up the western shore of MI, Sleeping Bear dunes, Traverse City, Mackinaw Bridge and Pictured Rocks Lakeshore.
