Toronto SC experience with hubby
Nice to hear. I'll be bringing my girlfriend to her first one in two weeks. We are both looking forward to it.

Dancers Shoes
I really hate the chunky platform, usually transparent, stripper shoes. They just don't look elegant at all. A nice traditional spiked heel tall enough to show off the calves, but not so tall that the woman looks like a giraffe when she walks is by far my preference.

Female customers not welcome?
Thanks a lot for the help folks. Especially the female input and the pointer to the pink site. After reading the pink (and the blue) site I think we will be fine as long as we avoid clubs like St.James that have a policy against dances for women and I get her to tip and behave like a horny (but respectful) guy :) That definitely shouldn't be a problem for her.

Well, that's a lot of interesting stereotyping in the above messages. :) I'm not going to go into too many details, but she is definitely not the butch lesbian type. Very hot little Brazilian full of life, and she would have a lot of fun if I can find the right non-threatening environment for her in a club. Jealousy, protectiveness, being offended, none of these would ever enter her mind. I'll probably go check out Treasures in Houston. I saw a couple of reviews mentioning couples, and it seems the dancers are nicer than RIck's.

chandler, I am not actually, but I guess you were replying to Judy. My main issue is spotting the ones that aren't female-friendly. It isn't obvious which ones are and which ones aren't.

chandler, sure, but at the same time these clubs cater to male fantasies. I think it is a rather common fantasy to see your girlfriend with another woman, much more so than seeing male dancers, so I don't think the two are quite comparable. It's a bit of a double-standard, I know, but most people I know, male or female, would rather see two women together, than 2 guys. And for the most part I don't think the nearby male customers would have much of a problem seeing female customers. Especially not this particular female customer. :)

She definitely falls into the cute and innocent category willing to try anything once. Thanks for the tip on contacting Dudester and other Houston reviewers. I hadn't thought of that.
