- Seeking a little advicediscussion comment21 years agoWow! Thanks. I've been tossing around the name Candy cause I always thought it was cute. I just hope I get the job so this all wasn't a waste of time. New-ish club means a couple months. I believe the club opened in November and it's still only open 2 days a week. That's fine with me for now, as a full time student who works on campus too. And yes, I saw some of the idiots who post here. I'm convinced RL and C & S are the same person. The way someone writes is very telling and I don't think capatilizing odd words for emphasis is something two assholes on one board would coincidentally have in common. But all the strippers and patrons who post here seem great! I wish everyone I know at school had done as much homework on the biz as I have -- people have so many mistaken ideas about the great people who dance and the people who love them.
- Using emotion as ammunitiondiscussion comment21 years agoThis is so upsetting its numbing. I just don't know where to start. The assumptions - that feminism has gotten this woman nowhere (why does she think this column where she gets to write whatever tripe she wants?), that no woman takes advantage of an education and holds her own with men, that men aren't still overwhelmingly in charge of our lives...it fucking blows my mind.
