Although refurbed a few years ago, this place is still a dump. It's kind of an institution but not really in a good way. It's really a place for groups of lads to go while waiting fir trains to go up north.

This has been improved recently - though since it was the vilest dive imagineable before that's not saying much. It's a scruffy old dump near Kings Cross station. The beer? Order bottled lager. The toilets? The worst ever, supposed to be the inspiration for those seen in Trainspotting. The girls?...

This place is worth knowing about because of it's location but definitely not a destination in itself. It is a small dive bar one block from Kings Cross and St Pancras stations so makes an alternative waiting room if you are catching a train.
