This is venue is part of the now dwindling, "Money in the jug" pub strip circuit in London. 10 years ago there were probably 25 venues of this type within in the central London area, now there are less than 10 (and a couple of those are best avoided). I do prefer this type of venue to expensive entrance fee type venues, because by putting a pound coin in the girls collection jugs for each dance you pay for exactly how long you are in the venue which seems more fair.

It has to be said this venue is absolutely at the other end of the spectrum on the "Money in the jug" circuit to the likes of 'Browns' (and it's club like atmosphere.) It is a very rough and ready, basic pub with stripping in a small back room. The toilets are a hell hole, the girls can range from super stunning to gruesome (and everything inbetween.) None of this bothers me, I like the "Nice and sleazy" atmosphere, having been attending the venue for about 20 years and would be horrified if every venue on the circuit was the same. 20 years ago every other venue on the circuit had only two girls to a shift. The Scotsman gradually built up the girls from two at lunchtime to about six by the evening. Nowadays the Scotsman keeps this format, but elsewhere on the circuit there's no longer any such thing as a venue with only two girls on duty at a time. Nowadays it's also the only venue with no "Private dancing." To a fan of stage dancing like me this is a positive aspect. It means you are not continually bothered for private dances you don't want and if a girl comes up to you and starts chatting you don't wait for the inevitable question. 20 years ago there was sawdust on the floor and the stage was at the other end of the room. Little has really changed though, except for one negative thing which has spoiled it a bit for me. That is the fact that just recently the stage lighting has become appalling! This is also the case at a couple of other venues on the circuit and I can't understand why. Don't they know we'd like to actually see the lovely naked girlies? I can't believe that another reviewer said to drink bottled beer! The fact that draught beer is available is a positive advantage for me over poncey venues like 'Spearmint Rhino' where there is no draught and you are forced to drink from a poxy little bottle, (which costs more than the price of a pint.)

Girls today included two stunners, two a bit overweight and one that was far from young. When I arrived there was a stunner onstage and the room was packed. During the hour I was there it never was again, (even when she returned to the stage.) All of them were enthusiastic acts, more than happy to open legs and show off loads of pussy. The older one in particular was most attentive towards the audience. There are no poles, so you get no pole acrobatics here. One recent change is that the busy body local council insists on the girls wearing something more than underwear when offstage, going round doing the jug collection, chatting to customers etc. What's the point of this? Who knows?
