I consisted this place while in town on business. I was bored so figured I would check out a club. I knew from reviews the place wasn't top notch, but, I like clubs like that. Usually more fun. I went to bar and ordered a drink. Plenty of regulars around here. The girls were busy cheating with them. One woman on stage with one guy watching feeding her money. Wouldn't be a bad deal if I found her attractive.... I hung around about an hour. Was offered a couple dances but declined. The dance room was right next to the bouncer. He could see everything. I prefer more privacy. I ended up getting a massage from a girl I didn't want a dance from. It was pretty good. After that, I finished my beer and went down the road to centerfolds. Bottom line, the girls were average and the atmosphere was uninviting in the afternoon. Weekend nights could be better. I went to three clubs in Worcester and this one I'll never go back to. No privacy, VIP, or attractive women that I could see...

The Lamplighter remains my favorite strip club for a quick lap dance and beer. It is clearly a dive, and hasn't been remodeled in 20 years (except for moving the couch in the "Champaign Room" so that it could be fully visible by the bouncer. It is family run, and has a laid back vibe once they know you. The lapdances are in this two seat cubicle visible by the bouncer when he decides to look over. The dances are usually high two contact affairs, very difficult to get in club extras. If those are your goal, drive down the street 500 yards.

For some totally unknown reason I enjoy this club. The afternoon I stopped in there were about four women in view. One was a very thin young girl. Not bad looking but not sexy or curvaceous. The other women were older and all were far from skinny. Two were excessively heavy but the other had nice curves and certainly had nice big tits. I decided to take a couple of dances with her. As usual YMMV and I got absolutely no mileage for my investment. Although very curvy and appealing to me, her dance was cold and the NO TOUCHING was severe. This is not what I have usually found here. I will try again the next time I'm in Worcester.

This place was a bummer when I last visited. Nobody dancing at 5:00. Oneaverage loking tatted-up chick chatting up a customer near thevstage. Very friendly dancer chatted me up at the bar but she was nobody I wanted sitting in my lap. On the other hand I would bet there is a lot going on in that VIP "room." It is a little room near the door behind some curtains. I left as quickly as I could after finishing one drink. The place itself is easy to find. Plenty of parking. No cover before 6:00 pm. Not sure about later. Frankly I am not sure how this place stays in business. I do like a good skanky place from time to time. This place was sub-skank.

This place is really gross. If you like the combination of a truck stop and and dingy strip club then your in luck. I have been there sadly more than once because I have friends who actually enjoy going to the shittiest strip club they can find sometimes. I always push for Betty's, the Centerfold 2000 in Oxford, or hell the Centerfolds down the road. The building itself is nicer than Centerfolds down the street but the place is just sad, crappy and uncomfortable. At least centerfolds manages to grad some decent looking woman and some who are really awesome in dances and such. Lamplighter? Awful. It's been cheap the last time I was there and I had no real drive to tip so I managed to have a couple beers, not spend a lot of money and I end up not paying attention to the talent. Which if your going to a strip club whats the point in going to one that makes you turn away from the women? Centerfold's down the street isn't terribly better but if that is an option, take it over Lamplighter. I am truly amazed that place is still in existence.

The economy is taking a toll on this club. In the early evening (6-8 PM) there are usually about 3-4 dancers. Two or three years ago there would have been six. That time of night there might be 1 or at most 2 men sitting in front of the stage. Most of the dancers are good about getting most of their clothes off during the first song of the set. So count on seeing a lot of each dancer. The floor of the stage is lap level, so most of the girls spend a lot of time on their backs spreading legs, or on their knees. Most of the girls hang out at the bar when they are not dancing. They are friendly, and not pushy for lap dances. The lap dance area is screened off, and there is room for two couples, but most of the time you have the room by yourself plus your dancer. The bouncer is near, but he doesn't spend his time looking in the booth to see that your hands aren't wandering. Lap dances are $20. Most of the girls do their best to see that you get your money's worth.

This club needs some serious updating. The decor and stage are very old. I stopped in with an hour to kill on a Tuesday afternoon hoping for a repeat of a decent dance that I had in this club a few months back. There is only one spot for a dance behind the bouncer, and it was occupied as I walked in. The first dancer took nothing off - she sat at the edge of the stage and talked to a guy who seemed to be her boyfriend. The second dancer was a very large woman. I was polite and tipped her a few dollars, and she invited me to the tip rail. It was then that I noticed the smell. This woman has a serious hygiene problem and should not have been dancing. I was turned off enough to leave half a drink and head out...really disappointing visit here.

In short: this is a weak club. It seems to be a family run business run by some folks that aren't interested in putting any effort into the place. As others have noted, it's run down and although they have a lap dance area it's really a hacked curtained-off space that is near the club and doesn't provide any privacy. I've been to LLII on two occasions recently (the time just to make sure I wasn't misguided) and discovered only 3 dancers on shift the first time and 4 dancers the second time. On each night I found a different friendly, cut dancer but between the ridiculous bright lighting and the lack of a private area, there was no fun to be had at the LLII. Centerfolds is .25 mile down the road and although it's a dump, you can have A LOT of fun in that club.

I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon. The club looks pretty bad - has not been updated in 20+ years - uncomfortable. I had not been here in 5 years. They did add a private dance area in back of where the guy collecting the cover charge sits - very small, semi-private area. I watched several dancers that should not have been dancing - pretty rough. I was getting ready to leave when an african-american dancer approached me - gigantic boobs and pretty. SHe asked for a dance, and I decided to give it a shot. I'm gald I did - good 2-way contact - was actually a lot of fun - much better then previous experiences here. There was not any other dancers who appealed to me, so I moved on after several dances. If you can get past the physical downfalls, it may be worth a visit because the contact of the lap was pretty good.

Went here at the end of May 2011 when I was in the Worcester area briefly. Located around 0.2 miles East of Centerfolds, this small, local strip club leaves a lot to be desired. It's parking lot is co-located with a Getty gas station. The cover charge & drinks were both $5. Enter through the doorway closest to the street, and the club opens up to your Right. The bouncer sits at that door in front of the entrance to the latticed, mostly enclosed LD area that has only a few easy chairs in it. What this club passes off for a "VIP area" is located in front of the LD area & just to the Left of the long, thin stage. The long bar area is directly across from the stage, and the dancer's dressing room entrance & the restrooms are located off to the far Right of the stage area. This is a pretty small strip club but not as small & dark as Centerfolds just up the street. The LDs are $20/song & are all-nude with full, two-way contact. The apparent VIP LDs (which seemed like a ripoff given their similar location to the regular LDs) seemed to be available on a per-minute basis. The stage dancing was all-nude here as well, but many of the dancers didn't have much going on in the looks department (a 3-7 on my scale). Almost all ethnicities were represented in the dancers though. I had a few LDs with a VERY curvy Jamaican girl that had some pretty good two-way contact & stick shifting. The place wasn't that clean, and the service wasn't that quick...but the hustle here was pretty low as this appeared to be mostly a laid-back strip club. The Jamaican girl that I had a few LDs with here wasn't too pushy or grabby at all. Her HUGE all-natural tits were a thing of beauty, and the contact during her LDs was awesome by MA standards. This place is definitely kind of a dump though, and I wouldn't return here in the future.

I wanted to like this place, because i really like the old school, no frills atmosphere - i like a club that's more like a bar with dancers, than an overblown "gentleman's club", and this definitely fits that bill. With no, or cheap cover, and cheap drinks, it's hard to argue with the non-dancer services. but truth of the matter, even on a sunday afternoon, 3-4 dancers isn't enough. it's not that it was that crowded (so i get the econmic issues involved, supply and demand and all that), but with such a small pool to choose from, it's hard to find someone worth taking a dance with. the one girl i was interested in was occupied with a regular for most of the time i was there, and up on the stage the rest of the time. Shame, because I loved her schoolgirl vibe. I'd come back, since it only cost me a drink to be disappointed, but only when I had too - like in this case, because Betty's wasn't open yet.

This place gives Centerfolds down the street a run for it's money as biggest dive I've ever been into. Not all strip clubs are palaces obviously, but this place is just disgusting. The building literally looks like it's falling apart. The stage set up is terrible. The chairs are those old small 50's wooden furniture style that are wicked uncomfortable. It was hot as hell inside. We only saw 2 dancers in the all too long 15 minutes we stayed. I gave them an average money rating as the beer was cheap and there was no cover.
