This place is really gross. If you like the combination of a truck stop and and dingy strip club then your in luck. I have been there sadly more than once because I have friends who actually enjoy going to the shittiest strip club they can find sometimes. I always push for Betty's, the Centerfold 2000 in Oxford, or hell the Centerfolds down the road. The building itself is nicer than Centerfolds down the street but the place is just sad, crappy and uncomfortable. At least centerfolds manages to grad some decent looking woman and some who are really awesome in dances and such. Lamplighter? Awful. It's been cheap the last time I was there and I had no real drive to tip so I managed to have a couple beers, not spend a lot of money and I end up not paying attention to the talent. Which if your going to a strip club whats the point in going to one that makes you turn away from the women? Centerfold's down the street isn't terribly better but if that is an option, take it over Lamplighter. I am truly amazed that place is still in existence.
