So I stopped by on Friday evening after a slow night elsewhere (HL, where the doldrums of late summer have set in). Te lot was empty, and the sign on the front of the building was only half lit. It looks like the club has finally closed. While it's not surprising, after a long and painful decline, I have to hope that a revamping will be underway. In it's heyday this was a great club. I know that some have said the club took advantage of customers, but I never had any bad experiences. And I had some very, very, very good experiences, in just about every sense. Here's hoping for a resuscitation and full recovery.

So, I am wanted to go back to check out what is going on. I pull up to see that it looks like there is some kind of construction. So I spoke to a contractor and it turns out the inside of the club is being completely revamped for a possible turn over to half nude half topless at some time in the future. My understanding is that construction started in March and is still proceeding. Not sure what happened to all the great employees or ladies that worked there. Kinda hard to believe this place is shut down as it has a been a long standing fixture for as long as i can remember coming to Phoenix. When I hear anything I will post here again, but I wonder if it is worthwhile to try to update this huge building in such a bad location. Anyhow, we will see how the saga continues....

It's hard to decide what to say about this place because a part of me wanted to love it. It's beautiful and classy inside - well designed building with a nice dramatic set-up including spiral staircases and a huge floor and stage on the first level, and the girls' dressing room and vip lap dance areas up top. The girls can take a staircase directly down to the stage from their dressing room, which seems kind of cool. There are sculptures and fancy artwork throughout the place and the seats are not the most luxurious, but they are pretty cozy and comfy. There is ample parking out front and the staff seems moderately friendly. But for whatever reason, this club was like a museum, and was relatively empty most of Friday night. There were 10 girls working at best, and they were not the most stunning, but also not the worst looking dancers I've seen. Most were friendly enough when they'd approach you, but all kind of had an annoyed look on their faces while standing around and looking at the few customers they had already asked multiple times for dances. People were getting regular dances in their chairs - can't recall what the going rate was - maybe $20, but my friend got a deal from a girl, presumably desperate, and had some decent, moderate contact dances at $10 a piece. I didn't see anyone heading up the stairs but the dancers, and so I don't think the vip was selling much that night. We got quoted $200 and then $350 by two different girls for the vip room, and I never quite figured out if they were talking about the same vip rooms or dance times - it seemed confusing, as they had numerous pricing options up there and the girls were quick to read off the prices and didn't want to explain the major differences, so I didn't push since I wasn't serious about getting one anyway. No one seemed enthusiastic enough to be worth a vip. They all just gave you the feeling that they were waiting for the shift to end. Overall, the place is truly beautiful inside. You feel like you've walked into something special. Then you sit down and watch the few people in there with you and realize it's up to you to make the fun happen. I'm not sure if it was just a crappy night for that place or for the city in general, but it was super slow and seemed unfortunate. The girls are okay, but nothing spectacular and it seems the lack of business might be weighing on them, as they had a tired and hopeless kind of attitude. It's not a waste of money, but it's not somewhere I'd go if I expected to have the time of my life or feel like I just walked in on the best party in town. If you prefer quiet and mellow atmosphere, then I'd recommend at least checking this place out for the decor and the appreciation of what it could potentially be.

Like many of the other reviews written about this place I can testify that this club was one of the best in town years ago. But over the years a series of bad managers have run off most of the quality dancers. (That info comes from long time Christie's dancers I've run into now dancing at other Valley clubs) You never see a girl working there more than a month or two. I did stop by three weeks ago and saw an eastern European brunette and had a terrific time with her. Been back a few times looking for her since, but alas, she's gone too. I'd probably still go in since it's on the way home from work but the service and the food has also taken a major dump lately. Tonight, I had a drink at the bar and it took the bar tender 25 minutes to notice the drink was empty. Seriously, after 15 minutes, I decided to stick around just how long it would take her to notice. I see they are remodeling, maybe after that's done they'll get their act together but I wouldn't count on it. Go to Christie's in Tempe instead.

I've been to this club a few times and for me, it has typically been a boom or bust club. On a bust night, I'm outta there in less than 30 minutes. On a boom night, I can have a great time for hours with many attractive dancers. This last time that I went was more on the boom than bust side. I think that the dancer quality has gotten better than it has been the last few years, but still is not what it was in the best days of this club. The club itself and interior are still very nice and comfortable. I got a seat close to the stage and decided to just sit back and have a drink or two while I scouted out the talent. My crown and 7 drinks tasted very good and were generous with the crown, which makes for a great drink. I was approached by a few dancers and told them to check back later as I was just settling in. I was eventually approached by a latin girl who was wearing a skin tight dress. She had a tight figure and some massive cans that somehow fit into that tight dress. She asked for a dance and I obliged to take her upstairs for a few dances. The dances were great. She knew how to move and made sure those massive cans were right in my face. Glorious! After a few dances with her, I decided to go back downstairs and enjoy the scenery. I ended up getting a few other other dances and then a few again with the latin dancer. I couldn't get enough of those cans! Without her, this visit would not have been very good, but she definitely made the night worth it and made me want to come back again.

Christie's could, and should, be one of the best clubs in Phoenix (and the country). It was once. It has so much going for it. The furnishings and general interior decor are very nice and upscale; it's definitely the nicest club in town in this regard. The door staff, managers, waitresses, and house mothers are very courteous and professional. I used to really, really like this place, and i want to do so now. I used to have incredible experiences here. But Christie's is falling short, and has been for some time now. The crowds are just not there. Even on a Saturday night the place doesn't get crowded until very late, and my impression is that the people there just don't know any better. I'm there hoping for a recovery to some of the previous glory days, but I'm still waiting. The problem is dancer quality. You used to find some of the hottest girls in town here, but no longer. The standard seems to be either thick (to very thick), or thin to the point of anorexic. There is an occasional standout, but they are usually visiting from out of town. the level of playfulness has also declined. Granted, this seems to be an issue at most clubs in town. Maybe there is an overabundance of clubs, or maybe the standards for dancers have just fallen (the general population is certainly more obese and out of shape, and maybe dancers follow that trend). This is a self-fulfilling path. You can't attract the higher quality dancers without crowds, and you can't attract crowds without hot women. I think the club needs to invest in talent, and the customer population will begin to migrate back. Until then, it's BBC and HL for attractive dancers.

Went to Christie's on Tuesday for lunch. Paid $5 cover which included lunch (anything on menu except the steak) but not a drink. Club itself is aweaome, very large and well laid out. The real kicker was that there was only ONE girl working! I ate lunch ,waiting for more girls to maybe come in. Nope. The only saving grace was that the one girl that was working was friendly. Unfortunately there were three of us PLs there all wanting dances, and only one girl to go around. That left the stage empty and two lonely guys. Not sure how they can run a club like this...

I stopped in on a Sunday night on a whim. Hiliter has been too busy for me to enjoy the past few times I have been there and it seems all my favorites are gone, so I thought it was worth trying Christies. I enjoyed it! I appreciate a clean and attractive club and this particular Christies has always done that very well. It has had a ghost town vibe for years now, but at least there were a few customers and a few more dancers. They ran the full range of types but only one appealed to me. She turned out to be clever and very pleasant to talk to. I think I only did 4 dances with her, at $20 apiece, on the second floor balcony. The view of the stage was good and she made a point of dancing on stage so as to provide a show for those above, it was reminiscent of the old Ziegfeld follies. She said dances on the floor where the same as the balcony. I seemed to remember them being $10 and $20 respectively, but that was more than a few years ago. Ultimately, it wasn't a spectacular night, but I enjoyed it and it was a Sunday, so perhaps a Friday or Saturday visit is warranted

I visited the place around 6 on a Friday evening after a hectic week and was surprised to see only a few cars in the parking. Anyway they have a big parking There was a $5 cover and the girl at front desk told me that there was a 2-drinks minimum, I agreed however I am not sure anyone keeps a close eye on your drinking pattern. I got a 2-for-1 (before 7) pm) deal...beer at $6. Setup is good.. It's a big place and I will put it right at top for the ambience... Good light. There is one stage near the bar and a lot of seats to sit (near and far from the stage). Music was good and not very loud.. You can easily have a conversation. When I entered I was surprised to see that the place was deserted ... Hardly 4-5 patrons and 5-6 girls... Bar area had more crowd than the stage. I took my drink and started watching the dances... The girls really uses the pole here unlike other places... There was a Black girl who did an awesome pole dance. Now, coming to importnat part... I will rate girls in the range of 5 to 6. It was still day shift and I see more girls coming but quality was same. Girls were friendly and nobody was pushing for anything. However if you want to have a conversation only, I will suggest Ana at the bar counter... She was fun. I liked a girl named Sunshine as she was very friendly and though she must be in mid 30s seemed like that you can have a good time with her but it seems that she likes talking more than dancing, even after agreeing for a private dance, she got busy talking with other patrons. So, I moved to my other choice Monica and took her for a private dance. They have an area upstairs for private dances.. She turned out to be good and we chatted for some time and then I took a couple of dances... I liked Monica and got a good mileage, she never stopped me from doing anything but just moved a bit far when I was crossing the lines. Do not expect any extras at this place. Overall an OK place however I will try other places before coming back.

It has been a few months since I was at this club and I was once again impressed with the improving dancer quality. This club had been going downhill in my opinion, but my last two visits have been much improved. The club has been extensively explained, and is still looks great. I walked in around 8pm and was surprised to find quite a few attractive dancers already there. I sat down and ordered a crown and seven, which was mixed adequate (not weak, and not all crown). I was nicely asked for a few dances but declined as I was still settling in. I then saw a dancer who I had want to spend time with on a previous time. Blonde, 5'7", amazing body. I got a few hot dances with her on the floor and ended up going to VIP with her for an hour. The hour was a great time. She gave great contact dances up in VIP and had mr happy fully erect for most of the hour. She and I were both having a great time between the laughing, dancing, and talking. She also allowed my hands to roam almost everywhere for the entire hour, which made for a very fun time! I must also say that the upstairs offers a great view of the stage in most areas. After our hour was over, I ended up leaving the club and am eager to get back again after this visit.

After another business trip to Scottsdale, I had several hours to kill before my flight out of PHX. This club is close to the airport, so it was easy enough to check my bags and hop in a cab to the club, which is only about 10 minutes from the airport. Cabs charge a minimum rate, so next time I think I'll try to Uber and see if I get a cheaper ride. This club is fairly large, with the stage(s), bar, and most seating downstairs. 2-for-1 beer special was a nice treat! Upstairs appears to be reserved for lap dances, and it was clear that upstairs dances were more involved. To be honest, though, the $10 floor dances proved to be as much, if not more, than the $30 private dances I'd get at home. It was pretty quiet, early evening on a Thursday, so there were only about 12-15 girls and only a handful of customers. I don't mind this, as it usually means the girls will come and sit on your lap and chat with you for a bit before hitting you up for a dance. Tipping the girl on stage a couple of bucks almost guarantees such a visit. Quality of girls was as expected for early in the evening - 1 or 2 stunners, the rest in the 5-6 range. Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere - I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

Went to Christie's Cabaret this past Sunday while visiting Phoenix for work. Arrived at the club around 7:30 p.m. There were only about 10 patrons in the club and a similar number of entertainers. I would rate the entertainers overall about a 6 with only one 8 in attendance. None were fugly, but only one was particularly attractive. Unfortunately, she spent all of her time with one patron. They have $10 dances on the floor, and $20 dances in a more private area upstairs. I took four dancers upstairs and there was some one way touching on my part, not much on their part. It was enjoyable, but nothing outrageous. I tried to see how other patrons were doing and saw a similar level of activity by other dancers. I stayed till around 10:30 p.m. and did not see other dancers coming into the club. It was a Sunday evening, so pretty quiet. Not sure if it would have been better off at any other area clubs.
