The strip clubs are dead. Club are Scanning and Saving ID's. Collecting full funds and holding it for private room dances. Dancers asking stupid high rates for extras. Room fees at high rates.
& they wonder why us guys go to jack/fuck shacks and AMP's.

The ugly reality is that the vast majority of strip clubs suck by default. I have been to Seattle clubs and they suck extra hard. But the truth is most clubs suck and almost every time I visit one I feel like I am pissing money away for nothing in return. Key word here is most. In my general area there are probably 20 clubs within a 2hr drive, and of those 1 maybe 2 are any good. (Trust me I have been to all of them). And of those 1 or 2 places they can still be very hit or miss, as in show up on an off night and any chance of having a good time is totally blown. The USA doesn’t not do anything sex related very well. I could write a book on why that is, but it’s a topic for a different day. For fucks sake Canada has some really good strip clubs that are cheap compared to the United States and most of the women are sizzling and fun to talk to. My advice is to head down to Portland where the mileage still sucks but there is more variety or head North to BC.
Allowing any club to scan or save your id is a fools game. I always ask if they are going to scan it. If so I won’t hand it to them. Thus far I’ve never been turned away for not allowing a club that scans ID’s to see mine.

Sounds horrible but i dont think its just strip clubs nor just seattle strip clubs. For at least the last almost 10 years, it seems part of american sex worker culture to demand absurd rates for limited mileage. You can try to get around it by going for the asians, the latinas, or the ghetto chicks
I have found that the only way to have a good time at strip clubs is you have wade through a lot of BS until you find a girl that you vibe with and who gives good service at a price point that you can stomach without feeling like you have been taken to the cleaners. This takes a great deal of patience and the ability to ask the right questions without coming off as a total creep and also a great deal of restraint and the ability to say “no thanks”. The days of just throwing money around and throwing money at dancers for simply approaching you are over, at least for me they are. If I am not feeling it with a dancer I just smile and politely decline their offer. Some nights you will go home with blue balls and empty handed but at least you will preserve your wallet. The whole goal of the dancers is to take advantage of men’s impulsiveness and bleed their wallets dry. I don’t spring for that stuff anymore. I just try to find a few dancers that I really like and than build a rapport with them.
@Someguyontheinternet , it’s called getting older imho. Once you had a few hot ones at a reasonable rate, I balk at batshit crazy numbers, no matter how hot she is.
@Reachme Yes, I am definetley older now and I can confidently say that I have had my fun. That being said these days I feel like I am NEO from the matrix. When A girl is spraying a bunch of BS as at me I am pretty good about picking up on it and dodging those bullets. I can pickup on when a girls is being genuine and as is down to have a good time. Do I get tricked every now and than, yes it happens but it is often very rare. That being said the United States is Bush League and Damn near everywhere in the developed world is better for Women, but sometimes you have to play the hand your dealt.
NYC, many clubs have closed or eliminated the day shift. Prices went up somewhat with inflation, but on the average it’s fine. The real kicker are the closures and hours reduction. Used to have 5 clubs with daytime hours within 15 min drive, now it’s only 2. And the better one only opens from noon 2 days per week.

Damn, I thought Seattle was a top 10 destination based on the comments here. I thought about planning a trip early next year. Is it really that bad now or was it never any good in the first place?
@chiefwiggum I have spent a great deal of time in Washington State and Seattle over the years and unless something has changed Seattle clubs leave a lot to be desired. And by that I mean they suck 95% of the time. Seattle and the State of Washington hates strip clubs because they view them as exploitive and a nuisance and also the feminist harpies in government can’t stand seeing a man with a smile on his face. The state hasn’t been able to ban them outright but they have placed a heavy burden on the clubs through the passing of all kinds of laws and ordinances designed to make the clubs as lame and un-fun as possible so that people simply don’t go them. One thing I noticed is that the strippers have learned how to play the system by making all kinds of promises and insinuating that there is fun to be had in the VIP. Than when you shell out the money and head to the private dance area they suddenly can’t do anything at all because of all rules. As in some dancers would not allow any contact of any kind and refused to even take their top off. It’s just an all around crapfest with very high prices and low rewards. The joke in Seattle was that the best strip clubs were up in Vancouver BC or down in Portland.
I would never plan a trip to Seattle to get a blowjob from a 40-50 year old dancer.
