Are lap dance areas private?

The "regular" lap dance areas are not at all private. Basically two rows of love seats, both rows covered by cameras. There are three VIP rooms at the end of the LD room. These rooms vary in size and have tables for depositing drinks and keys, cell phones, belt, etc. There are no doors or curtains, but there is a certain amount of privacy provided by arrangement, with the one on the left being the best, followed by the one on the right, followed by the center. There are no cameras covering these rooms.

What are you calling an extra? The regular LD area is officially one-way contact although enforcement will depend on the bouncer monitoring this area.

The vip rooms are two-way contact. Bouncers typically only show, briefly, to announce last song. The relationship with the dancer is critical here. Extras are officially forbidden here and I know of at least two dancers who were fired for hand jobs. The owner spent a large amount of money upgrading his club a few years back and Baltimore clubs can be arbitrarily shut down - this happened to Fantasies a couple months after reopening for a very tenuous set of "observations" by the three enforcers. A judge also found them pretty shaky and reduced the suspension to basically the three weeks they had already served. Still, it was very costly, and I think the club would try to avoid future incidents. That said, YMMV, but don't expect BJs or FS - they are not happening.

One other note. The vip dances come in 20 minute increments for $300. Regular LDs are per song, 3 to 5 minutes for $40. Your price per minute is roughly the same in vip and regular areas, and it is two-way vs. one-way contact. Also, if you do a VIP room, the dancer keeps $235 of $300 as opposed to $20 of $40. Guess which option she will be more "grateful" for! Do two of them, and most of them will be even happier. As always, tipping is appreciated.

I agree, and what I said was that they were essentially equal but you get 2-way vs 1-way contact and a dancer who is much more accommodating in a non camera room. Personally, I have almost totally quit doing regular lap dances in favor of vip because I get more value out of them.
