I have a trip coming up and will be there Sunday night thru Tuesday night. I have never been to Chicago or Tropical clubs, only HK. HK I can go at any time and there will always be a selection. Which time/day/evening during my stay would be a good time to check out either club where it won't be dead and there should be a decent selection?

Chicago is dead early. Not sure about Tropical, but would assume similar. Maybe a tad busier, but not as good as HK.
BT is a better option during daytime visits compared to CC. Also during evenings BT usually has more activity, although the quality of girls at CC tends to be better. CC is more of a hit or miss type of club, sometimes it gets busy at nighttime (especially on Sunday’s) but daytime is mostly dead. Still, take a peak at both places coz you can always run into a gem or two at either club and the girls tend to be friendlier for much less out-of-pocket as well👍🏻
90% of the time I'm spoiled by hong kong. Occasionally there's a girl I like at tropical and Chicago! It's worth a look.
and before the problem with the police I was a regular checking out all of the bars in Zona Norte!
