Pro Life or Pro Choice

I am Pro Life for myself as an individual.

I am pro choice for society.

African Americans represent 8% of the population and 40% of the abortions.

I am Pro Choice. Not pro-abortion, but I am Pro Choice. I'm not sure it should be used as a birth control method. But there are just some reasons to terminate a pregnancy. I some young girl gets gang raped by some thugs. Do she need to keep that baby ? If having the child creates a potential health hazard for the mom, does she need to endanger her life to have that baby ? If the baby is known to be not fully developed mentally, do you have the baby anyway. Those are Choices that need to be considered. Some politician should not make that Choice.

Pro-life but I say let the aborting mothers suffer the physical and psychological damage for the rest of their days since the law permits it. The women that do that typically are of poor mothering quality anyhow. For each Teen Takeover participant, there is a lazy, abusive, low IQ single mother who made that menace into a problem for society.

I am pro-choice for the first trimester. I live in Indiana and would go along with whatever the voters in my state want. Under the Constitution, the federal government was to mainly focus on external matters like foreign policy, immigration policy and trade policy. The state, county and city governments were to mainly focus on the crime, education and welfare functions of the government. Whether abortions, drugs, alcohol, gambling, gay sex, prostitution etc. would be illegal should be left to the states. This used to be understood, which is why the federal government did not ban alcohol in the early 20th century until after a Constitutional amendment.

I am pro-choice for the first trimester. Also, believe that most "pro-lifers" are actually "pro-birth" because they really don't give a shit what happens to a child after it is born.

@BASP I've had two abortions very close together (about 2 months apart when I was 19, irresponsible, and dating a super fertile dude I guess lmfao), no physical or psychological damage whatsoever 3 years later. You don't seem to understand abortion or the people who get them. Of course women who abort wouldn't be good mothers-- they didn't want to be a mother (hence the abortion), and not wanting your kid will pretty much automatically make you a bad parent. That's kind of self-explanatory if you're not a complete moron.

There is far more physical and psychological damage risked in giving birth than in getting an abortion anyway.

Abortion is murder. If you're not willing to take responsibility for your own actions, then don't engage in intercourse. You should not be allowed to murder your way out of a situation that you fucked (for pleasure) your way into.

It should be banned, and people who murder their own children should be prosecuted and punished.

If you don't want your child, give him/her to a loving couple who will cherish him/her.

@apieceofsausage I understand your huge level of cope on this issue, but your very tone and tenor reveals considerable psychological damage in your psyche. But the silver lining is that the world was spared two children who would have had both your genetic predisposition and your history of train-wreck behavior. At age 19, you were legally an adult so you are still very much that person, perhaps a bit angrier and less mentally healthy. So if you are misguided enough to think karma has forgotten you, she has not. Your rightful comeuppance for murdering your own offspring will come soon enough so woe betide you.

Personally I think abortion is wrong but I'm not totally against it so you decide what category I fall in to.

Young lady, before you call anyone "stupid" remember that YOU are the one who had two abortions in the span of two months. You're also currently a sex worker, not a profession known for cognitively talented individuals. So stop your projecting and get yourself into intensive, post-abortion therapy because it is quite obvious that you need it before you spiral further down the hole of utter misery and denial.
