I have been skiing Maine since 1982. Sunday River with 120 plus trails had 19 when I started. Sugarloaf was the first ski area that I ever rented on-slope housing. Starting with the pandemic I actually skied there more than Vermont.
Last week I got a gift certificate to pay for 2 nights lodging at a discounted rate from one of the areas, with the added benefit of a free night for everyone that I paid for. Doing the math I could stay on-slope for 7 nights, for the cost of 3.
Up until recently I would have made and paid within a week, but Maine decided that the person who best represents them is a woman hating, commie, traitor with a Nazi tattoo who despite pretending to be blue collar worker attended a 70,000 a year private school; an oyster farmer who has one customer, his mommy's restaurant and who has been derogatory on line about real soldiers who were injured in the line of duty. The reprehensible sissy justifies it by ptsd. He's just a rich little faggot in my book. This is how I feel and this is what I wrote on the gift certificate, which they can take and shove up Platner's Nazi ass. He is a perfect example of a Bernie sanders progressive.
