Link isn't opening for me. Regardless, it's cali, you got to figure that their corrupt leaders would fuck things up. Why should it take weeks to count votes. They need to change their system but they won't because in the long run it accomplishes their objectives.

Because it doesn't it doesn't accomplish their objectives.

Why do you want Republicans in charge of anything anyway? So you can be dead last in education like Oklahoma. Interesting how the states at the absolute bottom of the country in education and the dirt poor states vote red over and over again. You'd think their situations would get better with all of those Republicans in charge yet somehow they remain broke and stupid.

Yeah they completely ignored the presidential election in 2024 but brought in the big guns to make sure California stayed blue (this is how retarded you sound)

Over the last 30 years here in Indiana I have run into several people who have moved here from California. I know of no one who left here to go to California since the eighties except a niece and she came back a few years later. That there is more in migration to Indiana than there is out migration from Indiana leads me to think I am in a pretty good place.

Why do you find it so implausible that Dems just wait longer to mail in their ballot"? If there's only one Republican candidate with significant support, then it makes sense that Republicans could decide and vote sooner. There are plenty of valid criticisms of California Dems, chiefly that they think virtue signalling matters more than results. But they were leaders in opposing gerrymandering, until Trump made that effectively the same as surrendering. That would indicate they are less likely to unfairly run elections than most states.

So in a state where democrats outnumber republicans by roughly 2 to 1, the votes went roughly 2 to 1 for two democrats and one republican. Yup, definitely smells like a conspiracy.

This is where Republicans start losing major respect. I mean, how can you talk about "liberal tears" on one hand while crying massive tears of your own on the other? Dude, not everything is a conspiracy. Stop with the crybaby whining and man up. You're actually upset that a petulant reality TV star didn't win an election? That's the horse you wanna hitch your wagon to? Geez. I really don't know what's worse, the far left, or the far right.

"I only believe election results when I win" is some pretty weak ass limp dick energy. The fact that it's based on not being able to understand how election vote counting works with mail in ballots is even more pathetic.

Plus, in this instance, you're behind Spencer Fucking Pratt? Dude sucks. If you think people need to conspire against a loser like that, you got bigger problems

This is the point in a conversation where the liberals ignore the facts a d start the infantile name-calling. The evidence of illegal voting in California is overwhelming. Noone who truly believes that fair and lawful elections are more important than party would fail to point out the obvious fraud in mail-in voting, drop boxes, and late vote counting.

Too many coincidences to ignore in this election. Plus the election system that has built in manipulation loopholes doesn’t add to voter confidence.

Just because the ratio is 2:1 in favor of democrats, doesn’t mean that democrats won’t cross party lines. I’d be pissed of at the homelessness and slow pace of rebuilding regardless of political affiliation.

@ThePuddyTat there's no such thing as "blue cities" idiot. Laws are made at the state level.

Democrats are in charge of the wealthiest and most highly educated states. Republicans are in charge of the poorest and least educated states. Coincidence? Also when a Republican takes over in what was a Democrat lead state invariably the state's education numbers slide down dramatically. Do you know why? Because if you are educated you won't vote Republican so Republicans are very against people being educated.

And yet, no proof of anything. No doubt CA’s system is the easiest place to vote. No ID required, same day registration and mail in votes sent to every registered voter. I’m sure someone votes a few extra times but any widespread voting fraud would be impossible to conceal. And then the results are right along party lines and the mail in votes are consistent with party tendencies? You have to have more if you want to say it’s definitively rigged. And who’s to say it’s not republicans casting extra votes? Apparently it’s only democrats who rig elections, which we have proof isn’t true. Isn’t some Trump AUSA doing an investigation? If fraud is there, they’ll find it. If they don’t, I’m sure Trump will still say it was rigged.

A proper city needs to have mostly white or asian cops, basically a reverse affirmative action policy. Asians are only like 1% of the population, so even if asians in positions of power are racist/pro asian, it wont have much of an impact. On the other hand if you have a bunch of black cops or black mayors, those cities turn to absolute shit. Black cops dont want to hold black civilians accountable, black mayors dont want their own race facing any sort of policing or consequences for anything.

@ThePuddyTat "everything is too affordable and the poor billionaires are paying too much in taxes won't someone save us"

Avatar for dustyj

So what is the reason that the states that vote red every single time are the poorest and least educated states in the country despite having nothing but Republicans in charge of them?

Avatar for ilbbaicnl

What are the builtin manipulations? How would you expect anyone with a functioning brain to think they exist, when you don't say what they are?

Avatar for dustyj

It's not a game. Minneapolis is a blue city and is highly educated. Oklahoma is dead red and is dead last in education. There are many similar examples.

The chief difference between blue and red areas is they fuck lower income people in different ways. In hard red areas, it's harder to find work, and even if you do, it doesn't pay enough to give you any security generally. In blue areas, there's more work and better pay, but it doesn't cover the sky-high housing costs.

currentaffairs.org. Reagan was a horrible president. The huge wealth gap really started with Reagan. Between Trump and Reagan the middle class has shrunk year after year and the top 1% have gotten dramatically richer and all of their policies will lead to more of the same.

I think now MAGA thinking is finally clear to me. Hitler started out winning by a lot, but he ended up losing. That proves democracy CHEATED, so to be fair, we need to be Nazis.

Is anyone from LA actually posting on this thread? Any thoughts?

I’m sung allot of hit pieces on the news on Pratt, which imho is unprofessional. It’s too soon to call this. My gut is expecting a USDOJ lawsuit to drop….

As I read through these comments, some thoughts come to mind:

  1. there is no such thing as wealth inequality, it's just class warrior-ism and jealousy
  • I can be persuaded that there is some evidence that the capitalist system is rigged, but blame the government on both sides; I want a freer market that means less government intervention
  1. red vs blue cities or states or whatever: it's really about policies, from my firm's quants and AI models, blue states succeed despite blue policies; red states policies are more about application to everyone equally and predictable outcomes; we would all benefit from less government and simpler policies
  • speaking of policies, I notice blue state policies never discuss outcomes, i.e. homeless population in LA. My firm had some tangential consulting RFP to LA's homeless problem, we eventually withdrew because we couldn't get accurate figures or numbers
  1. California voting: any place that allows warehouse and gym memberships, credit cards to vote or register to vote has no right to call their voting safe and secure

LA is under 20% registered republican. Pratt received about 25% of the votes. The voting rules there allow ballot harvesting. Is it surprising that late arriving ballots are overwhelmingly democratic, no. Is there some fraud occurring, probably but likely not enough to change the election. Had Pratt made the runoff he gets slaughtered.

If it's supposedly so easy to register to vote in California under a false identity, why doesn't Trump direct the FBI to conduct an undercover sting operation, to prove it?
MAGA would buy hair-grow cream from a bald guy.

Over 3000 Spencer Pratt voters have had their signatures questioned.

Fucking Bullshit!
