Where do the ladies go and to hide in between stage sets and t shirt specials?

C

2 mos ago · 1 min read

Been there a couple times and really like everything about the place the vibe the ladies and overall value. But after their stage sets a lot of dancers disappear and you don't see them again till t shirt discount dance walk. Then its like herding cats and you need to Bob and weave to get to the one you want. Any idea of how things work there? Any specific place they go while waiting for the next set.

Dressing room!

It's one of the great mysteries of the place. The "where" is simple. THey're in the dressing room downstairs. They why is the mystery. At any other club, theyd be out of the floor trying to get dances, but a lot of them here don't.

They’d rather be pursued than work the floor! There is no mystery, but those that work the floor don’t like leaving the club without more in their purses than they had on arrival.

the dressing room disappearances and the fact that they allow them to sit out in the club with their phones are my two biggest complaints about the girls at this place.

The dressing room. They have to be "on" when they're on the floor. Can imagine how exhausting that would get.

@skad1

Strippers at most other clubs do it. That's how they make money.

@skad1, That's the case for all clubs though, right? OP was asking why it such a thing at this particular club compared to other clubs in the area.

MY theory is that the dancers in the evenings, when this behavior happens the most, skew younger than dancers on average and younger people find hard-work and socializing face to face intimidating and phones serve as an escape, much like drinking alcohol at lunch served white collar workers 30 years ago.

There's like a smoking area in the back too I think. I see them back there when I'm parking

As a dancer it’s because you are all extremely exhausting and annoying and this club has 382727 steps. When you’re at work do you work every single second you’re there? Or do you take breaks, chat with co-workers, or do something crazy like eat food? If you want a dance simply ask for one during the once every 30 minutes they do a promo. You complain about us but you no game having losers can’t even pay women to talk to you. How lame.

@puddlejumper1758

You can't count, because there aren't nearly that many steps. When most of us are at work, we work about 80-90% of the time, and take breaks for lunch and other breaks, like to go to the bathroom, even if it's up a flight of stairs.

They don't do a promo every 30 minutes (again, you have a problem counting). It's more like once an hour. But if a girl does 2-4 dances every hour, she's working about 25% of the time.

You are a no employment having loser who can't even count. How lame.

"As a dancer it’s because you are all extremely exhausting and annoying and this club has 382727 steps."

That's a lot of steps. For you guys who've been there what does this mean?

"If you want a dance simply ask for one during the once every 30 minutes they do a promo."

This sounds reasonable if you don't already have a dancer you're going there to see.

"You complain about us but you no game having losers can’t even pay women to talk to you. How lame."

This is pretty funny.

It means she doesn't know how to count.

I mean physically we are doing 50-100 flights of stairs per night in order to do the 10 promos the club requires. Not to mention the physicality of stage sets and lap dances. And yet people get on this goofy forum and complain about the fact we don’t jump up and down for $20 or stay locked in for our entire shift of which they only see a small percentage.

wallanon--the stage has two levels, the VIPs are upstairs, the DJ is upstairs, the VIP rooms are upstairs, communal lapdance area i below the stage (1/4 flight down) and dressing room entrances are apparently everywhere but the main floor.

So they presumably have to go into the (lower?) level dressing room to get ready, go up the stairs for the promo, descend the stairs, pick out their "no game having losers" and then go up or down a tiny set of stairs to do the dance.

Also I think "no game having losers" is even funnier than 'pathetic loser' as a title. We should adopt it.

Go dance in a different club if you’re too lazy or clumsy to go up or down steps

No I’ll just work here and relax in the dressing room thanks

And you'll make no money, which is fine with us. But the clock is ticking on how long you can make money at this job.

Smarter strippers go to work for a few shifts a week, work the room as much as they can while they're there, and make as much money as they can before they get too old or too out of shape to work as a stripper anymore.

You certainly won't get a job as an accountant when you get retired.

If it's not crowded enough for the 2 for 1 to be run on your evening visit, then jump up quickly (men) at your 2 chances to snap up the annoyed "puddlejumper" stage performance every 3 hours. If I don't see the full nights lineup by 8:00 PM - I'm gone! I'm always amused by the annoyance of dancers at this club when they mentioned that they didn't expect me to leave so quickly. 90 minutes max on any of my evening visits, unless I'm intrigued. My level of intrigue at this club (day time) might be 40%, night time it drops to 20%.

The dancers that work the club in the group of 2's thing - no interest (ever). Any dancer that lines up along the wall near the bar - yawn!

Late to the game here but I’m with puddlejumper on this one. I actually like the agency in her response. Everyone is telling her how she should maximize her time and money, and she’s basically saying, “I know the job, I know what the shift involves, and I’ll decide how hard I want to hustle.” If she can make what she wants to make while taking breaks in the dressing room, good for her. PLs can decide whether that works for them, but they don’t get to manage her shift (or turn a strip club thread into an unsolicited seminar on labor productivity and career planning).

You're right, but most girls with that much attitude make money enough to pay their bills for a few years, and get boyfriends and sugar daddies to pay some of their bills.

Then they turn 30, or put on 25 pounds, and that easy money dries up quickly, and it's never coming back. They're competing with 10-20 hotter girls in the club every night, and can't pay bills, and have no career.

It's like being a professional athlete, and puddlejumper is Ja'Lynn Polk or Javon Baker.

50 to 100 flights of stairs a night? Bullshit. First off, stop acting like the 10 stairs there are like walking from the blue line to the shuttle bus at Logan and the 110 stairs carrying luggage. If you are lazy, like I am being today, just admit it. I don't blame my clients when I am too lazy to work, because when I am not too lazy to work they are the same clients, making that excuse stupid. Glad I won't see you this coming Friday, stay out back puddles. I do know the attitude here has cut my visits from 5x per month to one or none.
