We've simply recovered from the March dip due to investors being spooked by the war. Steady growth when you look at the longer trend. Trump brings enough chaos that we should expect downward spikes like last month or the tariff drop from a year ago.

@rickthehick the chaos can be a good thing, when it shakes up the status quo for the better. Sometimes it can be a negative thing when the results are poor. Chaos isn't a good thing for its own sake. My point is that Trump doesn't follow the "rules" of the establishment, which means he creates a lot of uncertainty to the markets.
I've been a fan of Trump's since way before he got in politics. He's been saying the same things for at least 30 years. We're getting ripped off on trade, we should put America first, etc. Trump has a profound understanding of world power dynamics. The OPs misleading title is factually false. Except for the pandemic shutdown and payments - policy passed by the democrat party congress- Obama and Biden are the two president's who ran up inflation and destroyed our individual and national wealth through Quantitative Easing ie printing more money. The more dollars in circulation, the higher the GDP, the more dollars it takes to buy individual stocks and increase stock "valuation." However, each dollar has less value, can buy fewer goods, pay fewer hours of labor, or less cushion to your savings account. This is why Obama's economy was so anemic and pathetically weak. They wanted us to believe that growth of 1%-2% was the new normal. Trump 45 proved that was a lie. They did not try to spin or coverup Biden's crazy inflation, they straight-up lied to the media and enlisted them to gaslight the American citizen.
