Where would you be in your mongering life without the TUSCL how to guides?

That you see in the articles. I mean I don't even know if I could even make it through the front door without them.

TUSCL helps but having been to strip clubs several hundred times over the last fifteen years helps even more. Whenever a stripper tries to manipulate me she doesn't know what she is dealing with. Nothing beats trial and error and just seeing what works in order to maximize your success in strip clubs.

I haven’t learned much of anything from the articles. I’ve learned from the discussion board and raviews.

What I’ve learned from there? If it weren’t for TUSCL I probably wouldn’t have found at least half the clubs I have visited. Remember, there was a time where Google and Apple Maps weren’t a thing and the most popular way to find somewhere was Mapquest and printing out directions.

The raviews have helped tremendously. Say for example I went into a town, had only 1 free night and there were 3 clubs in the vicinity but too far away from each other to hit them all, so I’d have to choose. I’d say reading raviews helped me pick the right club for me at least 75% of the time. It also helped me know pricing, how to dress, quality of the strippers, how liberal the lapdances/VIP sessions would be as well as several other minor details.

In my clubbing days, they were great to not waste time at bad clubs or with bad dancers, but by the end of them I was spending time with known quantities.

Serious question: have has anybody ever read one and said to yourself "damn I've been wrong the whole time"

Although I don't read them maybe somebody does out there

I've been going to strip clubs since my 17th birthday, 60 some years ago. Long before TUSCL existed. Sites like this make mongering easier, but I'd still be having sex with strippers with out it, just like I was before.

I knew about the places I was familiar with quite well. However when I’ve been curious about something I’ve been able to get an idea about other places. Some things you just have to learn by going to a club though.

I'm not sure that I have learned anything from the articles per se. I've visited more clubs as a result of member descriptions of those clubs and their intel as to what I might find when I walk through the door.

I'll give credit where credit is due. Without TUSCL I wouldn't be anywhere close to where I've gotten with the hobby. At least not as early and don't think I'd have the level of mastery I've reached. It's easy for me to say 30 years in I don't rely on TUSCL, but before I knew how to create mileage out of thin air I definitely got an edge from the oversharing guys here do in their reviews.

Tuscl, alongside the internet generally, have been instrumental in advancing and improving my PL life. Before that, it was very isolating. I couldn't really talk with normal friends about my interest, and my occasional experiences were haphazard and often disappointing, without much insight and guidance.

I come from a time when I would stop at phone booths during road trips to peruse the Yellow Pages in search of clubs and massage parlors. Half the time, some prick had already torn out the relevant pages. 🤬

Thanks in part to Tuscl, things are clearly better now.

@Rod84, that happened with more than one hotel phone book I've seen, too.

As far articles (shrug) I haven't read any. But if it wasn't for TUSCL, TER, and any number of other review sites, along with my stupid, id -- especially my stupid id -- I'd probably have a few more bucks in the bank.

When I traveled in the 1980s/1990s for, and before "The Internet", I'd get a copy of the local evening newspaper and check out the Sports Section for Strip Club ads. Or I'd get a local "college" pulp newspaper and check for strip clubs.
