a little over 30 years of going to the strip clubs i've never seen a dancer, bartender or waitress with a black eye. knew a couple of dancers that had bruises on their shoulders from getting assaulted by shithead bouncers. maybe the girls use a lot of makeup to coverup the eye(s).
there was only one occupation that i was aware of that blackeyes are a regular occurrence: boxing.
now i've heard about the celebrity blackeye club rumor. i just watched the below clip. my reactions were: -that's an awful lot of blackeyes being shown pertaining to the entertainment field. -there are more actresses than strippers that this happens to by a real huge ratio.

Nothing. You already told her twice
One of my stripper regulars had a number of bruises one time and told me she had fallen down the stairs. Another stripper in the club told me later, though, she had been beaten by her boyfriend. My regular knew I liked her and did not want me worrying about her so she lied to me. It is probably not unusual for strippers to have abusive boyfriends.

They usually disappear from work for a week…… then hit the make-up hard. Both black eyes occurred from fights about two - three years apart.
I don’t remember black eyes, but many years ago one of the famous Griffingirls at Follies had some videos posted on social media where she would get into fights with other girls and beat the crap out of them. She eventually realized the videos could come back to haunt her and they disappeared.
