Wow

How is the lineup? Same girls as before, or did the prior girls scatter to other clubs?

Why "wow", Gotham? There are 2am-ers elsewhere, and clubs continue to operate. If businesses need to permanently close after an incident, shut down the entire city of DC.

I was just saying wow, because, yeah wow, at the whole story.

IMO, yeah this particular incident coulda only happened on a Monday night. Who knows maybe the weekend security woulda avoided all this -- there's more patrons around on the weekends then on a Monday night.

There's a lot for 'wow'. Would Eb-Inn still be closed if the victim was younger, maybe didn't have an incarceration record; what if this did happen in a weekend like a Saturday or Friday, what if this didn't happen during the winter season, but in the summer?

Wow to all of this. I been around. I seen all the stripclubs disappear in 2016 by PG County politicians. I've been in stripclub raids, witnessed it myself. Wow to that. One of the DJs from Eb-Inn died a year or so ago, dude used to run his own stripclubs. Wow to his sudden death, I seen that dude deejay and run clubs, matter of fact I was in one of his clubs when it got raided lol. Wow to the elder politician guy who finally passed--dude has protected Eb-Inn all this time from getting shut down and escaping the mass stripclub shut down of 2016.

Wow to the fact I never thought about it until the shooting, that as much as I visit stripclubs: if I were to get murdered at one--what would I hope the aftermath to be? Close down the club that I love and constantly risk my life to go to? Or hope the party continues? Wow.

Wow to the fact that as long as I been going to Eb-Inn, I've never eaten there. Tho I keep promising myself to. Wow, I get a chance now.

Wow that I semi promised 2 dudes close to me that I'd take them to Eb-Inn. They both died, separately, suddenly and I never got to take them. Now the clubs back open got me thinking that. Promised a 3rd close friend all this time too. He's still alive. Gotta get him to go.

Wow to the time I saw Young Thug perform at Eb-Inn before he was famous. All those fans that showed up. So awkward to see such young people in a stripclub you always goto. Yeah, it was offbeat.

Just wow to all of it. Man a special wow to the cat who used to run the strip club Bazz & Crue. That was my spot too. He died suddenly. And weird, you can't find no newspaper article about it--imagine a cat runs a successful stripclub in the area, he dies suddenly, mysteriously, the club is forced to close and not a single word about any of it that I could find in a paper. Beyond odd. So to some of us the club just abruptly closed, some of us didn't know he died. Only hint was Facebook post. I don't even know dude's name. Only thing is videos on vimeo that hint who he was.

Just wow to all of this.

@gothamyte I wanna hear the raid story lol. Always thought I would get caught in that situation and wondered what I would do. Kitchen burned down a few months ago and is still closed I think. Could never end my night there without stopping on my way out to get a rib sandwich. Glad I introduced one of my best friends to EI, he didn’t care for the food though.

Not going to disrespect another man's experience, but Bazz & Crue was a trash club that tried to make itself exclusive through paranoia. They should've just paid off the cops like any other club that wanted to stay in business.

As for people getting shot at DC clubs, if anyone is shook by that maybe they should find someone who remembers Irving's in Capitol Heights.
