Buying dances for other customers

Fortunately this has only happened to me rarely over the years. I just said thanks but no thanks, repeating as necessary. Never got past awkward. The more popular strippers can avoid creepier PLs and still make their nut. The creeps see my dorky ass getting dances with said popular strippers, because I have basic customer etiquette, and I eat Great Value to spend every dime on the grind. Since these creeps don't even dream of not being assholes, I guess they see befriending me as their ticket for non-desperate strippers touching them with 10-foot poles.
Could also be there are some PLs who binge-watch The Travel Channel or something. They think the strip club is like a British pub, where everyone who walks in is your instant close pal.
There's also the visionary PLs, who think that strippers will all do anal for $27.50 once we get ourselves organized into the PL Justice League. They're out there buying you dances, hoping you'll be PL Justice League Member Number 2.

I can count on one hand how many times I ever bought a drink for another monger at a club. No fuckin way I'm buying some dude a dance. That's creepy as hell. And if I wanted to "help out a struggling dancer" I'd buy the dances for myself. WTF!

The thought has never occurred to me AND I’ve never been on the receiving end of this strange phenomena you describe!

It happened to me one time at déjà vu coi. The DJ bought me a dance with one of his favorite girls, and it turned out to be a disappointment with me paying a prepaid tip that she requested for a BJ. Turned out to be a CBJ. And a week one at that.

Never bought a dance for another PL or received one. IMO the only situation where this seems reasonable is when you're at a Bachelor Party and you're buying for the groom to be.

I have had strangers buy me dances several times. One time I never even figured out who did it. At least they were dancers I had my eye on anyway. One time the girl told me the guy liked watching her dance on other guys. Another time I assumed it was one free dance and I asked her if I could buy another one. She told me the guy told her to do as many as I wanted. I stopped at 6! I did tip her the equivalent of several dances. She asked if she should ask if he would pay for a VIP for me. She said he had done it before. I passed.

These were all at the same now closed club in Atlanta. I later read about a guy who went to jail for embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from his employer and blew it all at that club. Maybe it was him.

I never had a stranger buy me a dance. However, I did have a work acquaintance show up at the club I was at once who bought me a dance. The girl was one I was already familiar with, so it was fun.

I was in a crowded club one time with a bunch of buddies, and I said to one buddy who was standing in front of me at the bar watching a dancer, “I bet you’d like to splooge all over her tits.” He turned around and it wasn’t my buddy but some random Indian guy. He looked confused for a couple seconds the laughed and said, “Yes I would!” When the dancer made her rounds I bought him a dance with her.

It has happened to me before, but the person who was offering to pay for the lap dance also let me choose the dancer. I have paid for private dances for coworkers, friends, or military guys that are either going on deployment or coming back from it. I always let them choose who they like. I am just paying the cost.

Once at the old Mardi Gras club in ATL, a dancer came up and told me that another customer had bought me a dance. She pointed him out, and I thanked him. But as shadowcat said, it was a dancer who I wouldn't have chosen on my own, which made it a little awkward. One and done. Somebody's way of paying it forward, maybe.

I agree it's only acceptable during a Bachelor Party. Kinda fuckin weird otherwise.

Bachelor party, divorce party, 21st birthday, send off before deployment -- lots of good reasons. But for a total stranger?

Pass.

Any of you guys can buy me a dance when the opportunity is there. Thanks in advance!
