Annoying Tip Parades

Anyone else getting annoyed with grifting tip parades happening in clubs lately? Girls roam the club and approach guys asking for tips. If I engage with them I feel obliged to tip, however most of the time I just ignore them lol. How is everyone else dealing with this grift?

Only in the DMV area. I tend to avoid clubs where this is a regular practice.

Ir they are simply soliciting tips after a stage set, what is the issue? They are entertaining us while we hang out at the bar as they dance.

But, if they are not dancing, but rather walking around the club with a tin cup...yes, that is problematic.

The girls deserve to be paid for their effort, just as employees and business owners deserve to be paid by their employers or customers.

Completely agree with @funontheside. Or if they offer something for the tip, such as a quick feel or a brief lap dance.

There should be a system of color-coded string bikinis. White means don't even check me out unless you want to tip me. Yellow means air dances only. Blue means two-way. Green means extras. Following the Star Trek precedent, red means she'll be dead before the end of the shift. Or maybe that's only for black strippers.

Mostly this happens to me in places where 3-4 Latina spinners that I can't really tell apart are on stage at a time, so I'd be fucked trying to tell the ones who just got off the stage from the ones bellying up for seconds and thirds

Acapulco is famous for its cliff divers. There are dudes who put on a bathing suit, hose themselves down, then walk around looking for tips. Don't know how this ever works, you can tell by looking at them they've never dived off of anything but a bar stool.

✅ ' If it gets too bad, just walk out & go to another $SC! 2 out of 3 strip clubs didn't hustle me. I made the switch from the first one that hustled a lot & glad I did coz mi new angel strippers were for sure waiting for me!

I also agree with @funontheside. If a dancer is on stage and getting topless/naked (as permitted), then I believe she deserves some minimal compensation for doing so. Whether or not I’m actually attracted to the dancer. I consider it basic respect for the dancer.

I generally go with $1/song. Plus a few extra dollars if she does something special. So budgeting $20/hr works well for me.

I primarily club in Baltimore / DMV region.

One club I go to does not do tip walk. So I make sure to tip every dancer at the stage. I’m totally fine with that.

Another club has a very long perimeter and the dancer tip walks during every song. So she spend very little time on stage. Very annoying. So I very rarely go there. (And it may close down soon anyway.)

A third club I go to has small perimeter for the tip walks during every that occurs during a song. So she spends more time on stage. There are other reasons I like the club, so the tip walk is tolerable.

My favorite club the dancer waits until the end of her set before the tip walk. At that club, whether I tip her onstage or during a walk, I make sure I give her $1/dance minimum.

I do have a very short “shit list” of dancers who I don’t tip due to a significant negative experience. But otherwise, even if she’s a “3” (fortunately few and far between), I’ll tip her for performing.

I think tip walks, as a concept, are ridiculous. It takes away the incentive to do a good job. And at least the way it's done in the DMV, it's highly annoying. If I'm eating, leave me alone. If I'm in the middle of a conversation with another dancer, leave me alone.

I'd like to say leave me alone if I'm not paying any attention to you on stage whatsoever as well, but you can't know that unless you watch me closely during your set, so I'll let that one slide.

But, yeah, my stance on it is if you want tips, put on a good show on stage or spend time working the room after.

I do not like tip walks. If I want to tip a girl, I just go up to the stage when she is up there to tip her. I usually follow a policy of stage tipping the two or three prettiest girls because I want to encourage pretty girls to show up.

In general I don't like tip walks. If I like the girl I'll go up to the stage and tip there. I like to engage with the girl that I like while she's performing on the stage. 99% of the time I don't just leave a tip on the stage and walk away.

If a girl comes by my table usually I'll tip a dollar if she's not attractive to me. Or if I have no interest. I've had a few unattractive girls come back for another tip and I refuse to give them more...

There are very few places here in South Florida, that still tolerate this, years back when some of the local clubs had a tip parade, it was pretty abusive, after every song set a dozen girls would come around looking for tips, my favorite at that time used to despise this, she said on more than one occasion if they don’t want to tip me stateside, I’m not going to join the doggie tail wagging march and beg for scraps.

I agree, @Elitis. I've seen DMV girls literally just Windex the stage mirrors then walk around expectantly for tips. No pole work. No dancing. It encourages laziness. If she put on a good performance, she would've gotten tipped on stage. And at Good Guys, for example, there are 3 stages. So that's 3 dancers coming by demanding money after each set regardless of if you even noticed them or not.

I tip a dollar or five less at the stage since I know they are coming around for more after.

I've also timed dances/rooms so that I won't be around for others sets
