If a bunch of folks are at the stage making it rain, the floor is full of singles. I'm not gonna be out there throwing money into all that. At that point I'm out. They won't miss it they are gonna be busy getting out the shovel or the broom.
If it's slow and there's nobody else at the rail but me, I'm not closing that gap to get to what your used to or what you think it should be. It's on me to make it "poppin" up in this bitch. Yeah, not doing it. I'm gonna keep it a dollar a song. I'm not Captain Planet, not here to save the world. I just to do what I do. Be grateful I'm even there.

I generally agree, but a dollar a song is a bit weak. If I like the girl, I'll probably tip around $20 during her stage set if she's paying attention to me.

After doing this so much for so long, I've come to look at my fuck around money as ammunition. This discipline is the only way I've been able to have so much fun over so many years without blowing the GDP of a small country. When conditions are right I'm happy to lay down some fire or even bring in the big guns as needed. But when they're bad, I conserve the ammo for better opportunities.
.
So whether I wade in to a make it rain situation with a more modest tip (but still quite decent under normal circumstances) depends on my objective. If I don't know the girl and was just hoping to be noticed, I hold off because there's just no ROI in it. If I know the girl and am either seeing her OTC or working that angle with her, I'll probably still tip her to keep the connection open.
.
Barside tipping is similar for me. If she's entertaining me and/or there's a current or potential future OTC component, then I'm happy to make it worth her while. But otherwise there's no point.

I was at Oz in Clearwater recently, and many girls there no longer give you attention at the rail if walk up with a tip. They just want you to throw it up there and leave. I can understand why, seeing so many grubby incels practically trying to fingerblast them on stage in exchange for a couple of bucks. Then all the tiktok stripper streams and music videos are filled with images of bills falling like snow. Reality doesn't work that way.

about a year ago the guys I saw making it rain were all into cryptocurrency and bitcoin, etc. Not been around recently, I wonder if they're still doing well or if they got burnt

You can still manage to stand out in a make it rain club by tucking $5s and $10s into their thongs. Or you can get away with not tipping because the girls are so excited by the flurry of bills you can just slip in and get a dance afterward.
Honestly if I was @Muddy I'd be a little cheap too because even if he's only spent a modest avg of $100 at each club, he's at nearly $120,000 spent based on just ones he's reviewed alone!

I'm to broke to make it rain so I just make it hail with a bunch of change.

I don’t sit at the rail, so I typically only walk up to tip if i want her to come over after her stage set. I’m also a weekday, day shift / early evening monger, where someone making it rain is rare.

You can make it rain on stage but if uts in the floor then just in your section or the dancers spot. Depends on the layout.
A lot of times they make it rain to invite the dancer to after parries and stuff. Shell bring her friends. Its like a way to get girls to a Diddy party or something more subdued.
Personally I like the culture of urban clubs.
You dont need a lot to make it rain. even $50 in ones is good enough to make a dancers night on stage.
Personally if I make it rain a lot of money. Its for girls I know and on special occasions. And I dont expect anything for it.
Its crazy to argue about paying someone while working. You should do it

Tipping is tipping, not paying someone for working lol^. Their payment for working is what the club pays them, what people pay them for dances etc.
That said ive tipped 5k in ones before. The dancer still ignored me because i had a greasy ponytail and i kept farting that night, and my leather jacket had permanently absorbed the smell of them somehow…
