I prefer daytime visits to the extras-friendly Detroit clubs over night time visits for multiple reasons: Most of the afternoon patrons are older and interested in extra curricular activities. Thus there is less potential for "make it rain" parties by drunk young men and more potential for conversations, fondling and high mileage dances with the strippers.
Many clubs have more dancers on staff in the evening but the afternoon line ups are typically quite good and most of those dancers will prioritize customer service over partying.
Other advantages to afternoon visits include: Lower music volume to allow for some conversations; less change of an alcohol infused fight or 2AM shooting.
