I haven't been looking for these commercials but I do remember from the day when I was younger that a lot of the 1960's Volkswagen Beetle commercials and advertisements were very cute and funny.
The car dealer one is hilarious. I looked up that address to see if the place could still in business. It's a Honda dealership now.

I think it was Career Builder that did the ads with chimpanzees acting as the average guy's co-workers. They eventually grudgingly gave in to the people claiming animal cruelty. But several were hilarious. The ad with a woman giving job interviews to various chimps representing human personality types was funny as hell. Maybe the one with the laser pointer was the best.
