A lot of reputable escort agencies will ask for your ID info. Its usually safe, but always risky if they decide to start blackmailing people, or if there is a raid and the ID info is found. Theres been several cases of an agency being raided and client information being reviewed by cops.

Lol its not for their safety. Its so they dont get prank called and waste time money going to the hotel. Its also so they can blackmail you if something goes wrong or you dont pay up, or, scam you if its an un reputable agency.
