I have to ask, does it bother anyone that Gary, IN has one of the highest crime rates in the US? Or are the clubs in some protected or higher class area?

Gary, IN Clubs safe?

There is only one club remaining in Gary, Knockouts. At one time, Gary had a half dozen. I'm a white male and have frequented the Gary clubs for years without any problems.
Does it bother you?
There are no high class areas in Gary, I stop in that area to get gas before returning to the People's Republic of Illinois.
There are no protected or higher class areas around there, but I never felt unsafe at any of the clubs. Unfortunately, like inmonger mentioned there is only one club left there so I haven't been back to the area in a while.
