Cascadas - Penthouse vs 9th Floor

Is there a difference between the two types of rooms? Gonna be ther in the beginning of May for a few days and thought I'd splurge for a nicer room this time around

last commentThe penthouse executive suite is nicely appointed, but smaller than the Double Master room and just slightly pricier. It also has the virtue of being on a higher floor so in theory is quieter than other rooms (though much depends on your neighbors.)
I've never tried another one of the bigger Penthouse suites, but I've seen them. They're nice and spacious, but the question I have is: what are you going to use all that space for? A double master or penthouse suite has all you need to entertain a chica or two. My 2 cents is that I'd probably only pony up for one of the big rooms if I had a need to entertain multiple guests. Like, if you were going for the weekend and 4 buddies were coming along, it would be great to have a suite. For a solo visit, I don't think it's worth it, I would just stick with a Double Master or Penthouse Exec Suite.
What I really want to do one day is rent that pool room at Rizo, and throw a giant party in there with friends and chicas. One day!

Mostly for the noise. Not so young anymore! need to catch a break in between and would like to rest up without the noise from the club directly below me! Past few times they've given me room on the 2nd or 3rd (1 or 2 floors above the club) and the bass from the club is just constant

Have you considered staying at Rizo de Oro? In general it's a much quieter hotel, and the rooms are above the restaurant not the club so it doesn't have the same noise issues as Cascadas. You can still bring girls from Hong Kong to Rizo (just like you can bring girls from Bar Tropical to Cascadas.)
The problem though is, at either hotel, you're still subject to the mercy of your neighbors. If you're a light sleeper and your neighbor is partying hard until 4 AM, you're going to be up with him. But in my anecdotal experience, that happens less in Rizo than Cas.
I bring earplugs with me for this scenario. Other mongers will book two hotel rooms - Cas for partying and fucking, and then a quieter hotel nearby for sleeping.

word! i might do that instead. thanks! speaking of earplugs - do you use earplugs inside the club too? noise cancelling earpods?

I don't use earplugs in the club. IMHO, HKGC is usually just the right amount noisy for me. Loud enough that there's a party vibe and a beat I can tap my feet too, but not so loud I struggle to have conversation. You can also take chicas up to the 2nd and 3rd floors of the club where things are quieter if you like. Las Chavelas is also a bit quieter unless they have a band.
And I've been to clubs that are too noisy. (I'm looking at you Landing Strip, DTW!) I think HK gets it right on the volume.

@RonJax2 I find it interesting that you don't think the clubs are too loud. To me the only way to have a conversation is to shout at someone who is right next to you. I do use earplugs in the clubs as I think its so load that prolonged exposure could lead to hearing damage. I think the Mesaros and Chicas who spend all day in there, day after day will eventually end up with hearing trouble.

@jajake56 I guess it's a matter of preference. You do have to speak up in the club. For some, it will be too loud (but there's always refuge on the much quieter 3rd floor...) But like I said I want a party vibe and a beat to tap my feet to. Plus, there obviously needs to be music for when you're getting dances in the club! I've been to much louder clubs, I think it could be worse.
You're definitely right about the hearing loss. It's a hazard if you're there full-time. One of many hazards for chicas working the club. Tip them well!

My father lost his hearing as a result of his military service. His quality of life was seriously degraded. I, not wanting to suffer similarly, wear ear plugs. Tried multiple versions, including Bose noise canceling. Noise canceling Bose are a waste of money. The best I have found are Loop brand, but I am still looking for the best.
I use a Db meter on my phone. Over 85Db, the ear plugs go in.
I try to get my ATFs to wear them, but they all say they don’t need them. Poor girls.

almost every one of these VIP rooms is different than other rooms and it's nice having such a selection available. although unless I become a multi-millionaire I don't plan on ever booking a penthouse suite except for maybe 415 over in Rizo. having lots of friends to chip in will help under my present situation.

the standard singles and double rooms serve my purpose just fine.

and my single room that I had Monday and Tuesday nights this week was as quiet as a church.
