If you’re staying multiple days in the Zona - what do yall do during the day? Do you just hang out in the clubs, explore TJ, head back to SD?
Zona/TJ During the day

I hang out in Hong Kong gc and tropical bar and chase the girls!!!
And occasionally I might go get something to eat from Azul restaurant and Senda Norte restaurant. There's too much danger being exposed to the bandits with badges hanging out as a tourist...
Prior to 2 years ago I would sometimes walk around Tijuana in zona Norte and zona Rio and on the length of revolution. But I stand out as a tourist way too much with my 6'3 height. Lately the Tijuana police have definitely damaged me acting like a tourist during the days and nights.
For years now I've been staying overnight at least two nights and sometimes three and even four nights... It's just too far for me to travel to Tijuana otherwise for just a few hours visit. So I make it count.
If I’m with a trusted wingman, we’ll go to Revolucion and get a bite to eat at Caesar’s (this is where the original Caesar’s salad was developed). Sometimes we’ll go to Playa de Tijuana - my friend has an ATF that lives there. I live in the Midwest, so when I come, it’s usually for three or four nights - I make my trips count like Jascoi does.
In the daytime I’ll go to Costco, a shopping mall by the Hyatt, walk up and down revolution and find a great place for lunch. And not some half baked pizza place you can find anywhere. Something more authentic further south on revolution or on one of the side streets, google maps is great to see what is reviewed well. I agree Caesars sitting at the bar is fun. And they are all pretty inexpensive too. On a longer trip I might drive in and take a side trip to Rosarita for an afternoon. Never ubered there but is should be possible for not too much money. Basically I just explore around. I’ve been pulled over twice by the cops, once driving and once walking - both times I screwed up so my fault - both times I got finger wagged and sent on my way. And I speak virtually no Spanish. I treat it pretty much like any other foreign country (smile, apologize, ask for help if needed) and I get along fine. In the daytime at least I feel like it is as safe as most big cities I’ve been to.

I stay in SD and go to TJ at night.
