Best rooms in Hotel Rizo

mmvucd
Folks. I will spending couple of nights in the Zona next week (Tuesday and Wednesday) and I will reserving a room at Rizo. I only used the Deluxe Single before. This time I looking to book one of these rooms:
- Master suite ($135)
- Deluxe double room ($105)
- The suites single ($140)
I am looking to book the room type that is the most quiet. If you ever stayed at any of these rooms, I'd appreciate to hear your opinion and recommendation. Thanks.

I've stayed at Rizo a few times. Always a double master for me. I agree with @Zbott that noise has never been an issue for me in at Rizo. The relative quiet is a reason to book Rizo instead of Cascadas. They do have rooms that sit directly over Bar Tropical, but as one chica explained to me, those rooms are reserved for newly arriving chicas - and you'll see they come and go if you look to the hallway to the right past reception.
One time, I stayed on a low floor really close to the club. I think it was room 307? Literally right up a half flight of stairs from reception. Still, I could only hear BT if I was in the bathroom, and even then I had to listen carefully. In contrast, I stayed in room 450 in Cas once and the club was audible the whole time.
With all that said, understand that Rizo is still basically a brothel hotel. You're going to hear the clattering of heels down the hallway as chicas come and go. You'll hear mongers laughing, chicas producing Schrodinger's orgasms. You could even get a neighbor who blasts music in the wee hours of the morning, and there's not much you can do about it.
One monger I met in Cas one time told me he always books two rooms. One at Cas to party and fuck in, and one outside the zona to sleep in. Another solution is just bring earplugs with you.

Yep, that's usually what I do. Room in Rizo to bang chicas and a room in Zona Rio to relax and recover. I recommend the deluxe double. Request a quiet room in the comments and hope. All you can really do - this is the downside of staying in the hotel in Zona Norte. I usually play brown noise from the smart TV or use ear plugs if i must sleep there.
Unrelated note, I hate staying in Rizo / Cascadas nowadays. The security protocols become irksome. I refuse to wear the wristbands so they're always badgering me after a day or so whether or not I have a room, what room I'm in, and generally just trying to get into my business. It's soured me, especially when in other hotels I can come and go as I please, solo or with girls, without being pestered.

I've always lived in a noisy environment. I've had no problem sleeping in any of the rooms in Cascada or Rizo. yes security is more of a hassle but they were having too many problems with bad customers...

Thanks for the feedback @Zbott @Jascoi @seven @RonJax2. I was thinking of having a second room not too far the Zona to sleep at. Looks like Hotel Velario is a good option for this even though the area surrounding is not the most appealing, but all I need is a regular and quiet room. I also want to check out the Zona during the daytime for the first time. Have anyone of you guys stayed at Hotel Velario before?

@mmvucd: I have stayed at Velario. It’s a good hotel and the costs are very reasonable. The room I had was spacious and clean (it was a suite, forget how much I paid for it but it wasn’t expensive at all).
Only thing as you stated is that the walk there to and from the Zona is sketchy. Not so much regarding the locals, but with the police. I had a friend who regularly stayed at Velario, but one night on the way back from the Zona, he was stopped by a couple of cops. Fortunately my friend is very fluent in Spanish and knew what they were going to try and do: shake him down for a bribe. To make a long story short, my friend didn’t have to give up money at all. But since then, he stays in Zona Centro, usually at Hotel Ticuan.

Thanks @OPIllini96. This is very helpful. I will try the Velario and make the most out of it. I have always wanted to see the Zona during the day and hopefully will be able to do so next week.

We’ll be looking forward to your report @mmvucd. I always learn something every time one of us goes to the Zona Norte and provides an update.

Will do. BTW, I visited the Zona over two days two months ago and checked TB, HK and CC. I will soon port some reviews.

@mmvucd - if you drink in the clubs like I do, I wouldn't consider staying outside of Cascadas or Rizo. I don't drink where drunk but adding drinks in the room with a chica upstairs, in my mind, I know it isn't a time to be traveling around TJ outside the room. At that time (after a chica leaves) I either hit Azuls for a quick bite to just get ready and call it the night, I couldn't imagine getting in a cab smelling alcohol on my breath and driving to another place in TJ it even worse, walk.
I have stayed at Cascadas where I didn't hear anything many times. Tuesday and Wednesday are slower days. One time I felt like I was the only person in the whole floor as I didn't hear or see anyone for 2 nights (Mon / Tues), it was a bit creepy. Then last trip (Mon/Tues), I heard the heels clacking on the tiles upstairs different times of the day. It is just the luck of the draw at either Cas or Rizo.
